Sign advertisement for these Cascade dishwasher cleaning pods so ordered them and ran a cycle through the dishwasher obviously empty and the dishwasher appears very very clean and the product says that it cleans out the pipes as well so we’ll see how it goes, but it had very high reviews and that’s why I ordered it

This product is so hard to find in stores, I was so happy to find it on Amazon. I don’t feel any other product cleans my dishwasher as well as Cascade! I love how they’re each individual individually wrapped ! Super fast shipping and everything arrived without any issues! Cleaning my dishwasher as I write this!

I have purchased these in the past at the local big box store. I found that ordering this 8 pack from Amazon is not only less expensive but I also have more on hand when the time comes to need them. They remove any smells and make my Bosch dishwasher shine. It only takes one of the eight packets to have a clean dishwasher for several weeks. How often you use them depends on how often you do dishes and if you prerinse. I do 1-2 prerinsed loads daily. To clean my dishwasher I begin by rinsing my filter. Next, open the foil packet and remove the single pod from the packet. Place the pod in the detergent dispenser and run the dishwasher empty on a regular cycle. Once finished remove any of the clear pod wrapper that didnt dissolve and that's all there is to it. You now have a fresh clean dishwasher. Simply repeat every few weeks as needed.

My dishwasher didn't smell bad. I just wamted to keep it from getting funky. And I'm guessing it works cause I can't tell a difference. I don't know what they mean by fresh smell. It smells the same as before. I first tried it with my machine's basic operation, which is just a 20 minute wash. That did not dissolve the packet. So I guess it will only work with a full wash, which cost hot water and more electricity.
