TLDR: It fits my RedMax TRZ230S commercial trimmer as a direct replacement for Part # 511010601. Made from cheaper plastic compared to the OEM head, so we'll have to wait and see if it can keep up. Easy to install. Just had to put a nail in the head locking hole to unscrew the old head to replace it. For anyone who have never used this type of trimmer head before, you pretty much have break it apart to initially spool it up. It's a little annoying compared to just feeding the string into a hole and twist the head to feed, but once you do it the head will auto feed string out as you bump the bottom(spring loaded) while trimming. No more having to stop what you're doing to twist the head and feed it more string by hand. Just rev it up the trimmer, tap the bottom on the ground and you've gained a few inches of string. It's not 100% perfect, but what is? Some people ONLY use this type of head, and some people ONLY use the hand twist feed type. I've used both and found that it doesn't really matter as both types work and it's really all about preference. Almost every year we end up loosing the spring and/or the eyelets to our trimmer. So this year when I lost the eyelets(again) to the original head, we thought we'd try out this complete head for the same $ as the replacement eyelets cost. It has eyelets like in picture, but surprisingly it even came with the internal spring and prestringed which I wasn't expecting. I'm unsure as for how long this replacement head will last because it defiantly feels like it's made from cheaper plastic(PET?) compared to the original(HDPE?). I've used similar replacement heads on other trimmers and it's kinda hit or miss with some of them. Some lasted two or three seasons while others broke apart after bumping the bottom a few times. We'll have to wait and see on this one. I'll up it to 5 stars and buy a few more if it lasts the a season.

Bought a few of these. Parts are not interchangeable. Poor quality spring. Will release way too much line at a bump. I can get it to work if used lightly but crew always screws it up >> if bumping with more than very light pressure — you will be purchasing lots of string.
