Bluebirds started checking it out the first day
I love backyard birding and over the years I have tried several different bird baths. I started shopping on Amazon for a bath with the following criteria: (1) Bath is not very deep (since you only want to put 1-2 inches for birds) (2) Bath does not have a lot of designs in the bath (the more designs and patterns, the harder it is to clean) (3) Bath is light enough to be able to move around When I first saw the pictures of this bird bath I thought it was metal. Once I figured out it was plastic I was a little hesitant but this bath is really well made. It looks great, is nice and sturdy, easy to clean and take apart if needed, has a nice flat base that is not too deep. I attached the directions, but honestly you don't need them, it is that easy to assemble. I also attached a video that I hope gives a better idea of the quality. The only thing I might do is use some longer stakes than what it came with. I get animals like raccoons that go to my bird bath so not sure if the stakes it came with will hold it down. Other than that, I am really happy with the purchase. I will update this review after 6 months or so once the bath has been exposed to the elements (i.e. sun, weather, etc.).

Works and Looks Great - Can't Argue with the Price - Very Good Value
I enjoy feeding the birds in my back yard and know that having a constant and reliable source of water - especially in the winter - will help attract the birds. I bought in the fall so the birds would get used to seeing and using it. For the winter I put a tank heater in it (which I have reviewed separately) and it worked like a charm. Some reviewers/question answerers have said that because it is plastic you cannot put a heater in it for the winter - that is wrong. I did and it worked great and there was no issue with the birdbath. Others have talked about the assembly and complained about the threads on the post, base, and basin and not being able to screw it together or that when they did it wasn't straight. To that I would say - it is plastic, not machined metal so of course you have to be more patient when you are putting it together. The first time I started to screw the base and pillar together, it was at a bit of an angle so I reversed it and started again - putting some extra sideways pressure on the pillar and it screwed together straight (after I got it started the second time and put that pressure on, I heard a slight pop as the threads aligned so I knew it would work). Just be slow and deliberate as you screw it together. As for stability, the birdbath is very lightweight, which is actually a plus. I had some leftover rock and a bag of sand from another project and simply filled the pillar with this and have had not issues with it tipping. Finally, some people have speculated or said that it won't work for small birds - I disagree. Since I have put it out, I have had Gold Finches, House Finches, Juncos, Towhees, and even an occasional Hummingbird that have drunk from it with no problem. And the Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Robins seem to like it as well. Can you get a better bird bath? Maybe, but for real metal or concrete baths, you will pay a lot more money. This works great, looks great, and, at this price, is a very good value

The birds love it!
I love this birdbath. It's very light, but also sturdy. It's deep enough for larger birds to use. The smaller birds tend to use the more shallow birdbaths that visit my yard. I bought a solar powered fountain to put inside hoping that it would keep the algae at bay. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I even tried some algaecide recommended for bird baths, but it didn't work very well. You need to clean it more than once/week in the hot weather. The fountain does look great, but you have to be careful to buy one that has multiple spouts so that you can choose one that won't send the water shooting out of the birdbath.

Easy to assemble, very sturdy and beautiful !
I received this birdbath as scheduled, all parts enclosed and it was easy to assemble. I had an old firepit that had rusted out, collected water & was an eyesore. So I pitched the bowl and kept the frame, then painted it black. I leveled the dirt, added some lawn fabric , set the bird bath in the middle, secured with the provided stakes then added some decorative rocks over the fabric. Made sure it was level, then added water. It looks great. I love the metal look but since it's resin, it won't rust. The water basin is a nice width. Overall a very attractive and sturdy birdbath. (I will be adding a solar fountain and water heater soon.) Update: One more thing I am finding that I like with this birdbath. Because it screws together, the bowl is easy to unscrew so that you can empty and refill, which is very handy. Don't think I could do that with one that was one piece. Oh, and I did order and receive the solar fountain. It's the round black one that has suction cups, but can float on the water as well. It works great, sorry I was unable to upload a video. Haven't gotten the heater yet. Update: this morning I went to remove the ice from the bird bath and as I was unscrewing the bowl, it slipped and cracked. I contacted the seller to see if I could get a replacement bowl. They just emailed me that they are sending me a whole new bird bath. How awesome is that ?

Not as sturdy as I'd like
I loved this birdbath when I first received it. It looks heavy duty but is so lightweight. It's very pretty and super easy to clean. It developed a crack in it during the first summer in use. I'm not sure what happened, but I wouldn't risk purchasing another. It might work for others, but apparently I need something sturdier. The basin still holds water for a short period of time, so I continue to use it. The birds obviously don't care and still enjoy it.

Very colorful and easy to install
Good little bird bath, it is very cheep plastic and will blow over if you don’t anchor it properly in the ground. Colors look good and is very easy to put together. Hopefully the colors will hold up for a few years. Looks great and pleased with it.
