I just received the 8 pack. they are not 6.60" x 3.59" as stated. what i rec'd are 3.75" x 2". please advise asap.

Question 3

I'd be using these traps for tree rats! Could i mount traps to trees. Question is: are there holes drilled in traps to secure to a tree?

Yes, the holes are designed for this purpose. However, it looks like you bought metal mouse traps. These traps are designed for smaller mouse-sized animals and is not strong enough to kill a tree rat. For tree rats I would recommend a larger version of this trap - made2catch classic metal rat trap. This trap looks exactly the same as the purchased mouse trap, but it is larger and has a significantly stronger spring.

Question 4

I have lost metal "pin" that holds the trap open, do you have replacement parts?

I'll guess that replacement parts are not available. Suggest you make a replacement from a bit of coat hanger. Needle nose pliers should be the only tool you need. Use another of your traps to provide reference for length and the bends needed at each end. And before you lose the bars from your other traps, make sure the loop is crimped closed, but still swings freely.
