;The compact case was a draw for me. I own several Wera tools of various kinds, so the high quality of this set came as no surprise. It was purchased primarily to be carried in my vehicle in forbearance of a mechanical issue, not for daily use, though these tools are a joy to use and would certainly hold up well to day-to-day use. I may purchase another set for just that purpose, as it's a shame not to routinely have them available for use, no matter how mundane.

I really like the Wera brand and tool-wise, I haven't found anything I liked better. It started for me with the All in one screwdriver and that was invaluable in terms of size/footprint and capability. I then bought a few torsion/non-slip drill bits and screwdriver sets and their ability to grip the screw heads was...just...amazing... I also bought the metric ratchet set and that too was plain amazing. the quality of the tools and just how solid they felt in working hands was worth the premium price I paid over other generic tools. I bought it during Black Friday one year so I got it for cheaper than it normally is... Anyway, this SAE ratchet set I bought to round out my toolset. It is exactly like the metric one; same awesome quality and feel that I have come to expect from Wera. I'll continue to keep buying Wera tools as they are worth it to me. Hopefully I'll never have to buy another set of tools in my lifetime.

This is an extremely flexible set of tools. You can do just about any job with these guys. I pack this guy around wherever I go. The extensions have a lock feature that locks the socket in place, which is handy for light use with a battery powered impact gun. These are non impact sockets FYI. The ratchet wrench double as a nut driver, and triples as a bit holding screw driver with the bit holding adapter. The T handle is great for allens, and can be manipulated to form an L for certain applications. The case is great. Sleek and compact, and the top has a layout of the items with labeled socket sizes Great set to have around the shop or your place of work.

Beautifully made, German quality. Very rugged. Tools like they used to be made...a set you will have for a lifetime.

WERA tools are simply the best money can buy. As a Commercial Master Electrician i have been using various brands of ratchets and sockets sets as well as other hand tools for more than 35 years Snap On, Prototype, Blue Point and non of them compare to these. I bought the 1/4”, 3:8” and 1/2” drive sets. They are not cheap but stillless than the Snap On sets that I have purchased in the past. Even the cases are well designed and made. Metal cases with rubber bumper corners as well as latches that keep the set solidly secure. The corners and latches also serve to keep the cases from sliding around and getting scratched up. The inside of the case has a fixed high density foam with a spot cut the fit each separate for each socket, knuckle, extension and ratchet in its place. When a piece is taken from the case. You know that a piece is gone. Can’t miss it. Best design I’ve seen in a set. Now all tools for my job will be Wera. I live in Washington State and purchased the stainless steel screwdrivers. All with hardened, laser etched tips. And for more than a year now, not a speck of rust on them. I cannot recommend this brand enough. Do yourself a favor and make WERA the last set of tools you will ever need to buy.

Wera is never inexpensive, but the quality is unbeatable. These are not for the guy who just wants a decent set of tools. These are for the guy that wants the very best. They work all day every day, every single time. I have quite a few Wera tools and they never disappoint me.

I know the Zyklop looks a bit toy-ish, but I've put it through some serious work and it's been holding up fine. Wera's sockets could use better chrome plating. I have several of their socket sets and it's common to find one with some light rust spots. So that's a bit of an issue. But I'll still give it 5 stars because I like the set so much and use it a lot. And the case is just fantastic.

I got these for a friends wedding present. The groom has expressed to me several times that this was his favorite gift. They are expensive, but are high quality tools in a nice rugged case. I’ve gotten other kits (in metric or SAE) for my vehicles. They’ve come in handy many times.

I really love how this ratchet set holds everything in place. I could not find a ratchet set that doesn't make a mess of all the sockets until this one. It's also nice and compact, as it doesn't have as many sockets as many sets, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for me. I'm not sure how I feel about the rubber "latch" that holds the case closed. On the one hand, the operation is easier than your standard metal latch, and on the other, I don't know how well it will hold up over time. The wrench takes a bit of getting used to. I like how the socket is held securely in place until you decide to release it. It's nice also that the wrench allows the socket to rotate so you can use it like a screwdriver. It seems a bit of a gimmick, but I've used it that way a number of times. If you're like me and get annoyed at jangly ratchet sets, this set will ease your mind and replace annoyance with peace of mind.

Lovely set. Be prepared to get lots of jealous looks.
