A lot to like
Executive Summary: 1.๐ * 2.๐** 3. ๐ตโ๐ซ*** 4. ๐ฐ**** 5. โ๏ธ***** ๏ปฟItโs so many things good Let me say a few: 1.* Flavorful. When used in any stew it adds a mild vegetable flavor. When not used and I use only fresh vegetables, the decline in flavor is noticed. A good idea is to use fresh, frozen, and this one. A happy ๐ combination . 2. ** Aroma is right there. The fragrance fills the kitchen for days. ๐ 3. *** Texture. In package, it looks powdery. Itโs dehydrated! Water is removed through their dehydration process. The dehydration is complete. More complete than other dehydrated things Iโve used. When re-hydrated, itโs quite well restored to normal vegetable bits. Not chewy but as chewy as a normal vegetable, however small vegetable bit. ๐ 4. ****๐ฐ I see it as a good buy. But thatโs just me ๐ถโโ๏ธ. It adds to eating, aroma and texture.๐โโ๏ธ But, you say, I donโt see a lot for the price. Answer: Correct, itโs dehydrated, it will look and act like a lot, when subsequently, it be rehydrated. ๐ 5. *****โ๏ธThis is my second purchase Nothings ever works if you donโt try . ๐ณ Jim ๐ถโโ๏ธ This part is new: I went to sprinkle granola on my yogurt and accidentally sprinkled this vegetable mix instead. Surprised ๐ฎ What I discovered is that this mix reconstituted very fast. Tastes better than when itโs boiled in stew style. The flavor without stewing is increased. Since the yoghurt incident, Iโve tried reconstituting it with room temperature water for half hour. It worked great and became a snacking option. Try it. ๐ช Jim Czachor

Easy to use.
Easy to use. Good quality. Good flavor. Good ingredients. Good shelf life. Drastically reduces time and energy spent food-prepping. Use a little or a lot and use in just about anything.

Onion, Carrot, Potato, Sweet Potatoes, Red & Green Bell Peppers, AND Parsley Flakes.
No, that is not pasta. There is no pasta in this. Probably looking at dehydrated onion, which are slim white bits. That green powder? it's parsley INGREDIENTS: Dehydrated Onion, Carrot, Potato, Sweet Potatoes, Red And Green Bell Peppers AND Parsley Flakes. Shake the bag to distribute the green parsley. So yeh.. it is just dried dehydrated vegetables, nothing more nothing less. Diced small, well more like flakes--and that is what they call it--, and there is some vegetable powder (parsley mostly) in the bag. Not enough to take away texture. Totally will be fine for nutrition. I keep bags of dehydrated veg on hand for any time use. I like adding it to soups mostly. Amps up the nutrition. I will usually grab for fresh or frozen if I have it, but sometimes I dont, or sometimes the stores dont have much to choose from, or are out. SO I have dried vegetable blends in my pantry at all times. Extra nice as a prepping option. Just gives me reassurance that I always have a nice variety of vegetables in my home. Bad weather and cant get to store? Ive still got veggies. I buy different brands as each have different components. Shop around, pay attention to what it is in the blend. I have purchased this brand a couple of times now, no issues. Not a resealable bag but it is a strong bag. Can just clip or tape it closed, or transfer to a container of your choice. I dont pay attention to "best by" date. Really no way for these to expire, and best by is just a guarantee of freshness and form. Does not impact safety. I simply try to keep it stored in a cool dark location. As for preparation, I find dehydrated vegetables rehydrate best when rehydrated on their own before placing in a soup or stew. Your experience may vary. I also tend to find that the veg maintains a slight chew. So not the same as fresh if your expectations are such. But works well for what it is.

Makes a very tasty paste
The contents contain a lot of dust, but still have larger chunks. Unsuitable for tossing in to cook on a stove top with pasta. However if I rehydrate it separately into a paste, add some butter and spices? It makes an extremely tasty paste that can be mixed into cooked pasta. Will definitely buy again.
