This was my first attempt at ceramic coating. Car had 16 miles on it so the paint prep was very easy. First I washed the car with diluted dawn and a microfiber sponge. Next used a clay bar while the car was wet. Rinsed again and dried it. I then removed any water spots. Next took the included applicator and wrapped it with the cloth and taped it on the back. (Use the soft spongey side as the applicator). I applied 4 dots on the first application. The rest I used 2 dots. Each panel was wiped with IPA (rubbing alcohol) before application. I did cross swipes and 1 panel a time. I let it sit 2 to 3 mins. ( Im in Florida and it was 80 degrees) I then used a soft microfiber buffing towel to wipe it off and buff. I continued this process on the whole car. First application took 2hrs. I then went over the whole car again minus the IPA. I did the lights, chrome trim and painted surfaces. I did not apply it to the glass, wheels or plastic trim. I ended up with 3 coats on the front, 4 on the mirrors and door handles and 2 on the rest. This took another 2 hrs. I let it sit for another hr or so then tested with water. It beaded right off. It did rain 15 hrs later. The rain water beaded off and only left 2 spots on the whole car on a flat part of the hood!! Amazing results. The surface is slick and shines great and looks freshly detailed even after the rain. I say it's def worth the $10. Much easier to wipe off then a wax when applying. Prep is key as well as WAITING to test the surface. Durability will have to be tested. I will update after its been a few weeks. Very impressed so far and I did a mid size suv and I have more then 3/4 of a bottle left. The applicator did not fall apart and I have one more cloth left to use.

installed this on my new company truck a year ago. THis truck sits outside 24/7 and gets washed maybe 4 times a year. it has 26k miles on it already and water is still beading. good choice here

For $10, I've just completed the entire exterior (minus trim and windshields of course) of two sedans and a mini van and I've still got some fluid to spare. The results have been very pleasing up to this point; a year of protection was advertised so I'll just have to come back and share an update when that passes. Anyway, I'd like to reiterate that if you don't understand what clay barring or compounding is or how to do it, DO NOT APPLY THIS ON YOUR CAR, yet! I don't care how well you think you can wash your car, you CANNOT achieve optimum results without ensuring that your car's paint exterior is FLAWLESS and nearly completely clear of any and all sorts of dirt and imperfections. These precautions are necessary for waxing as well if you want to prolong its durability but even more important for ceramic coating. Once this hardens fully within a few days it can be challenging to try to correct any mistakes. So again, if you do not know what you are doing, don't bother. Learn how to clay bar and compound first. It's not difficult at all, but you need the proper products to get what you want. For those who know all of this already and are applying the coating, I will say that the applicator it comes with hardly lasted a few panels before it started to rip up; it's cheap but hey, I can't complain for $10. I'd buy a higher quality one or simply use a small microfiber towel. This is very good stuff though!

This stuff is a pain to apply... But that's the nature of the beast. Take your time make sure it's a warm somewhat humid day and all will go well. I bought this and applied it before doing any sort of paint correction because I just bought a used black 2015 infiniti q40 that has quite of few issues with the paint. And I need to find something that will help in preventing the dirty black car condition... I did learn quite a few things. 1: this isn't magic you will still need to wash your car regularly 2: my paint is much worse than I thought it was. 3: I really need to get my cars paint redone... 4: where was I? Okay in all seriousness this stuff essentially works by at the microscopic level making your car smoother. If you zoom in super close nothing is truly flat and that even more true with the paint and clear coat on a car. This helps to fill in those divets and everything making it smoother so dirt, dust, etc... Doesn't have quite so many places to cling to. Now the fact that it's a ceramic coating doesn't mean your car will be scratch proof but it will help with keppong your car looking good.

At first application the product wipes off fine, but then leave a haze, that I needed to buff out with another cloth (bad quality). 1 jar didn’t cover my sedan and my wife’s small SUV. The next day I ran my fingers through the car, but it felt unpolished, not smooth as it should. I admit the price got me and I ended up doing more than double the work. Bought a better quality from a different brand.

I purchased this coating to test out and it did disappoint on longevity. However if you don't mind reapplying this product often, it's not too bad for the price.

It's very easy to apply, it gives my car a very shiny and clean look and it last long , because every wash is with a hot wax. It cleans with ease.
