Lavazza 1221 - coffee making accessories

I've tried very many coffee beans on Amazon. For my taste this is the perfect blend of strength, aroma, crema. I would certainly recommend.

I bought this as reading about it, it's meant to be their "Gold standard" of coffee. It's not a dark or bitter coffee, more of a sweeter tasting coffee. Their usual coffee is darker. This is on par with Brazil or Colombian flavour, tho without as much kick as Brazil coffee. I bought it on a Prime deal offer. Would I buy it again - yes if it as on offer. But I like trying different ones. There is no date on it when it was roasted - they rarely do tho. Only a BB date (which doesn't help). The beans are a nice size and go thru a Bean to Cup machine better than some coffees, where the beans are a bit larger and can struggle. If you like a coffee that isn't bitter, has a nice flavour, this is a good one. If you like one with a dark kick, and strong after taste, I'd say skip this one. Some aren't fans of Starbucks for example (I like it), as they find it too dark roasted. This is NOT dark roasted. This is prob similar to their Blonde roast.

OK, so I'm not here to say I've tried 1000 different types of coffee beans. In fact, I'm fairly new to coffee and love the opportunity to try something new whenever I can. A while back my wife got me a bean grinder and French press, I think mainly because SHE liked coffee and it was an excuse to get herself a Christmas present while pretending it was actually for me. I liked both and they make for some better tasting coffee. Long story short, we kept trying different types of beans until I came across these at a grocery store. I tend to like "Italian styles" of things and decided to give these a try. I'd tried some Lavazza stuff already with my Keurig so I figured they'd at least be decent. Well, they're the best beans I've ever tried. My wife was reluctant to get them because they were more expensive than others and a larger bag than others we were buying to try, but they're her favourite as well. I've been ordering them from Amazon.ca since then because Amazon tends to be cheaper than the grocery stores by a few dollars, and I always make sure I order enough to get free shipping anyhow.

Es un café con un gran aroma muy intenso y suave a la vez, ya que no es un café fuerte, pero tiene un gran sabor sin ser fuerte como otros cafés, lo utilizo en la cafetera súperautomatica Delonghi Dinámica Plus y va perfectamente, sale con una muy buena crema y como he comentado el aroma y sabor es muy bueno. El precio por la calidad que tiene está más o menos bien, podría ser un poco más bajo pero está en el precio de otros cafés de la misma calidad. Yo lo llevo utilizando desde hace un tiempo y estoy satisfecho, lo único que tienes que ajustar bien varios parámetros para que salga el café bien y con crema. Ajustar bien el molido, la intensidad de café y la temperatura, son ajustes muy importantes para tener un buen resultado. De todas formas también te puedo decir que es un buen café pero es caro, lógicamente es mucho más económico que el café en cápsulas que además no aportan la misma calidad en sabor y aroma que un café recién molido, pero quiero decir que al haber tantos cafés hoy en día buscando un poco puedes encontrar un muy buen café en grano 100% natural Arábica a menos de la mitad de precio de lo que vale el Lavazza Oro. Lo digo por que los Italianos tienen muy buena fama pero aquí en España también tenemos muy buenos cafés y a precios económicos. Lo voy a decir para ayudar un poco, pero lógicamente va a gustos y seguro que habrá gente que no lo considera igual, pero bajo mi punto de vista el café que he encontrado Marfil/Tolesa por 7,70€ el kilo en las tiendas Bon Área o Área de Guissona, es un café que nada tiene que envidiar, y para mí es espectacular por la calidad/precio que tiene. Es un café de grano entero y tueste uniforme, los granos están en perfecto estado y se ven muy bien, se presenta en un envase muy parecido al Lavazza Oro de plástico metalizado en color dorado, que además de estar bien envasado y precintado lleva la válvula por donde podremos apreciar su aroma antes de abrirlo o comprarlo, y toda la información específicada en el envase que da una buena sensación de calidad, lo único es que no aparece la fecha de tueste del café, pero igual pasa en marcas como Lavazza y otras tantas. Así que os recomiendo Lavazza Oro por la buena calidad que tiene, yo lo sigo comprando de vez en cuando, pero si queréis algo mucho más económico y desde mi punto de vista de una calidad muy parecida tener en cuenta el café que os he comentado, podéis ir alternando uno y otro para tener cafés de calidad pero con menos gasto al cabo del mes.
