Seems good. Time will tell on performance but overall I'd buy again

Product is just as pictured, fit my husband handheld perfect. Works perfect. His only battery wouldn't hold a charge. This new one is great. Thank you Amazon.

This battery pack looks EXACTLY like the original Icom BP-264 in terms of form-factor and color (see picture). It also comes with a belt clip which is nice touch. But this battery pack is not fully compatible with the original BP-264, because it can't be charged using the handheld - you need a BC-192 to charge it (the seller does not mention that in the product description). This product is also not made in Japan as the seller claims, the attached pictures will show you where it is made and the manufacturer is basically lying about where it is made in the product label. Not even ICOM manufactures their batteries in Japan, they manufacture them in Taiwan. Taking all of the above aside, the battery does retain charge (if you have a BC-192) and fits perfectly well with the IC-T70A. I just would have wanted the seller be more transparent about the advertising.

I have two Icom IC-T70A handhelds with lithium battery packs and external charger, which only works with the lithium batteries. I was delighted to find this battery pack, shown to be Ni-MH technology, as the T70's instruction manual indicates the BP-264 charges on the T70. The OEM BP-264 battery does charge on the T70, this Karier-brand BP-264 does not. I tried everything, to no avail. Now I'm left with a battery that I can't recharge once it's depleted. This is beyond disappointing.
