Very clear book with information useful for the new and old auditor. Good examples of false NC and advices regarding how to handle different kinds of situations.

I also have 50 years in manufacturing ; 20 years auditing and consulting. Fred's observations are spot on. There are a lot of bad auditors out there and some bad CB's pushing auditors to issue NC's to create cash flow.

I have other books by this author and this one lives up to expectations . He describes situations as they are in easy to understand language , not jargonised theories or gobbledegook .The information given can save you about £940 per year....an added bonus. An essential read , not to be missed.

I have to admit, even as an auditor i found this useful. I have a few years of experience but I sometimes do the mistakes pointed in this book. Needed refresher.

Es gibt natürlich machmal schwache Auditoren bei der Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen aber ob dieses Buch dabei hilft sie zu identifizieren, bezweifle ich. Ich bin als Berater in diesem Bereich seit vielen Jahren tätig und erlebe meist seriöse Auditoren. Ein Riesenthema ist dagegen die Verschwendung, die dadurch entsteht, dass viele Unternehmer nicht begreifen, wie wichtig die "Arbeit an der Organisation" ist. Wenn dann einmal im Jahr ein teures "Theaterspiel" aufgeführt wird, um das Zertifikat zu erhalten, ist das "Waste of time and waste of money". Das ist das wahre Problem - leider!
