Want to get frustrated? Buy this!
I unfortunately bought multiple of these thermostats. They turn off the ac randomly before it gets close to the set temperature and then stays off for 30 minutes until it turns back on. I have worked with Google support to rectify the issue, but they only want to send out new units. We went over the “C” wire and confirmed that wasn’t the issue along with many other possible causes. What are the chances that multiple thermostats have the same issue at exactly the same time. There is lot of videos and questions regarding this same issue on the internet, with no fix. I would stay away.

Works Great With Alexa!
I upgraded from the series 2 model to this one and the difference between them blew me away! The new design is fantastic and the screen is outstanding. I can’t believe all of the new features Nest has added which makes me very happy with the thermostat. The install took maybe 15 minutes and the setup was even quicker. The software and the app are super solid and the Alexa connection works perfectly!
