I have gotten a similar version of this for each one of my kids when they turn one and we love it. They love seeing pictures of family and friends that they know. And age one is not too young! They know your face and want to know the faces of the other people important in your life! Once they get to a certain age though, they do discover how the pictures come out. So I recommend letting them look at it with supervision. Unless you don't care about the pictures getting bent up and eaten.
