I cannot recommend this enough! I have lupus which affects my skin-it gets very reactive and inflamed, and most of the skin care products I used to use, I cannot any longer because they irritate my skin. I tried the Avene Xeracalm while at a friends and was shocked. Immediately my skin felt “normal”—like it used to feel prior to lupus! It was immediately calmed, not overly moisturized and not stripped but perfectly balanced and throughly clean. I use it twice everyday and am on my 2nd or 3rd bottle and nothing has changed except that my skin is way less reactive and much happier! I will use this for the rest pf my life and am so grateful for it! It works jus as well on my youngest daughter who has awful eczema on her hands, arms, legs and feet…it does the same for her-calm, much happier skin, and I I have tried it all with her! Thank you!!!!

I absolutely love the Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid‑Replenishing Cleansing Oil — it’s become a must‑have in my skincare routine. I was glad to find this soap/oil. It was recommended by my dermatologist and has been helpful for my eczema. It cleans well with out over drying my skin. It has helped with flare up as well. It is fairly unscented which is helpful. It does not take much to get enough coverage for the whole body which allows one bottle to last for quite a while!

This is my go-to face wash. Takes even the most dense mascara off while not aggravating my eczema. The best part is that it keeps my face acne free and hydrated. Tough to find products that do both. Highly recommend.

I like it ! My face feels hydrated, and when my face dry it does not feels dry anymore.

This is a wonderful product, and my complaint isn't about the product but the manner in which the vendor "sealed" the top of the bottle with a ridiculous "tape" that was extremely difficult to remove! And the adhesive residue this tape leaves behind is darn near impossible to remove. This is an expensive product, and the vendor needs to stop using this tape or I'll never purchase it from amazon again. I can buy direct from my dermatologist and spare myself the frustration and time involved trying to remove the tape and its residue.

The Xeracalm body wash is a godsend. It is the only thing my skin will tolerate (even my ears are healing). I use it with Derma E’s eczema body lotion. The Xeracalm bar soap, not so much (caused an immediate flare). The body wash is getting expensive with the amount I use, but I use it for handwashing also (along with Derma E’s sensitive hand cream). And the Avene website says no animal testing, so I can use it without worrying.

Out dermatologist recommended this for my daughters excema. It’s part of her preventative care because it’s gentle on the skin and isn’t striping the skin. Has worked well.

UPDATE: They have now changed the formula of this product. In my opinion, is it changed the worse. I have been using micellular water for awhile now, but wanted to use less cotton wool pads and to try an oil cleanser. After lots of research, I went for this one for my sensitive skin and slight bit of eczema/dry skin on my eye lids. This oil cleanser is so great!! It doesn’t irritant at all, takes of my mascara so easily and feels much kinder to my eyes than what I was using before with the micellular water and cotton wool pads. Very happy! Update: they have changed the ingredients of this cleanser and I’m hugely disappointed. I have read others disappointing reviews too. Such a shame. Please please go back to what it was before Avene!!
