I assume this will work with the lenovo usb-c dock gen 2. i cannot get any other usb-c cable to work. does it have to be lenovo specific? thanks.

I had problems connecting with other USB-C cables as I knew the Lenovo cable worked I ordered another for my second laptop and it works for me

the dock has a usb-c output by the looks of it and should be compatible with a USB-C cable. it will not charge via the cable, just transmit data. the docks have a seperate poswer supply.
