Both the large and small clippers are very sharp and easy to use. I'm 83 and my toenails are a bit tough--these cut them easily. I have purchased quite a few clippers--and finally I have found the best ones!!

i bought these mainly for the fingernail clipper. I have diabetes and toenails are cut by a doctor. However, the fingernail clipper is the best I've ever purchased. It works nicely and doesn't get hung up on cutting nails like others I have used. This one is a keeper.

I bought this specifically for the tiny clipper (I use it for both hands and feet). Besides being sturdy, they cut very well and quickly. Don't know if it's because I'm used to my old pair I've had for over a decade, but I love the cut these give. Definitely sharp as I don't remember my old pair, even new, being this swift. I intended for these to just be a back up since I keep my (old) main one in my manicure kit. This one I keep by my bed for accidental nail breaks but I much prefer these now. Gave the bigger pair away so can't speak on how those work. I'm assuming they are probably just as good.

This is the second set I've purchased. I was bragging about the quality to a relative after they expressed how hard it was to find good clippers. So I purchased and sent a set to them while on the phone. They loved the surprise and the great quality!

sharp, easy to handle

As I'm sure many others have said, I never thought I'd write a raving review about nail clippers, yet here I am. These are the best nail clippers I've ever had. They are really good at, well, clipping nails. There's not really much else to say. The clipper parts themselves are very sharp. They clip clean through the nail instead of crushing them as some others do, so there aren't any scraggly bits on the nail left over. I don't even file my nails afterward anymore. They look nice, or at least as nice as a nail clipper can look, anyway. They don't have a built-in filer like some others have. One critique I do have is that the end where you hold the clippers at is kind of sharp. Not sharp enough to cut you, it's similar to how a table can have a sharp edge where it's not really rounded off. So the clippers can be uncomfortable to hold on to at certain angles, but it's easy to mess around with it for a few seconds and figure out how to hold it so it's not a problem at all. But the actual clipping of nails part, it is exceedingly good at. I 100% recommend it.
