Lol **Q: Why do they squeak so much?** A: QUICK FIX: The squeak is synonymous with Nike Air shoes. I’ve had three pairs and they all do this. I forgot about that when I got my last pair, and within a week of regular use they squeaked. I stopped using them for about 2 months because of how embarrassing this is. I tried powder, no go. The squeak is in the air pocket in the heal/midsole of the shoe. Then I said screw it, I’m gonna try something. I pulled up the insole of the shoe and pierced the air picked right in the middle part of the shoe, closer to the heal. It let out a rush of air. Then I sprayed a little WD40 in there while trying to keep the hole open a little for it to get in. Use the spray tube most cans come with and it will go right in. Ever since the , no squeak!!! Worked on two pairs I’ve had since doing this. Stupid that this has been an issue for Nike for YEARS but never addressed. DIY and you won’t regret it. My favorite shoes now and the popping of the pocket did nothing bad to the cushion of the shoe. Being all black means little cleaning whilst being leather and having a thick rubber sole means they will last for a good few years with regular daily use. It was a nice touch to find that I didn't have to thread the shoe laces myself upon opening the box. Price wise they are about Β£20 more than I was wanting to pay but they are far better value then many trainers that cost Β£100 more or are more fabric based, these cost Β£64. These are more suited to the cold winter weather conditions, than summer as there is very little air ventilation. I got what I expected and a they were delivered two days before the expected arrival day.
