It's About Time I Wrote A Review
I'm sat here currently ordering my next batch of this energy drink. I originally came across this drink in a store, and for a long time before (and I still do) I bought the 4 pack in person, but let me just check how many times I've ordered this online...8 times since 2022. There we go. Now, as this is an energy drink I'm not going to say why YOU should order it, because I kinda don't really like energy drinks as a "thing" because they're very unhealthy. BUT I will say why I keep buying this stuff. So, I used to drink other energy drinks way back - 10 years ago now. Not all the time, but I was in university and well...if you've been to uni, you'll get it. I didn't love them at the time, but I would drink Redbull and Relentless when needed. I tried Monster once...never again - that stuff is lethal. I remember the other brands would fill me with energy and make my heart race, but Monster made me twitchy and heightened all my worst habits. I'd probably end up in hospital now if I had a Monster. Maybe a Relentless too. Which brings me to why began drinking Tenzing... In 2017 (I think, going back a while now) I started to develop a heart arrythmia. It's benign - fine! Won't kill me. But it did effect my quality of life. At that time, it only happened a few times. It started when I was working nights and after I'd developed, after many years of wishful thinking, a taste for coffee. I was working nights, and had just got into the hang of making cool froth designs on my coffee, when it started. It happened whilst I was on shift. My work had to call 111 for advice as to what to do and I was quickly referred to a hospital (I wasn't taken in as it wasn't an emergency - but it certainly felt like it). This sorta continued for a while after, as I still drank coffee and absolutely loads of cola. Maybe a few weeks. It would happen and completely ruin my day. I began to realise caffeine was causing this. So I quit! I was working nights and I quit! I didn't drink anything caffeinated for 4-5 years after. Gosh...felt longer than that. But the arrythmia went away and I forgot about it. In 2020, it came back. Most likely due to the stress of the pandemic. I was so upset as it came back worse than ever and I wasn't drinking caffeine anymore. Cut to today, and I still get it, but I'm far better at dealing with it now and I understand it's normal, everyone gets it just some of us feel them whilst others don't. Even so, for a long time I wanted to drink caffeine again, but of course, I didn't want to trigger my heart and caffeine is a trigger. I was so scared to drink caffeine. But then I came across this drink... I actually don't think I realised it had as much caffeine in it as it does when I bought it - I don't think I even thought it was an energy drink. I just saw natural caffeine and thought it would be a safe alternative - a bit like those drinks that are cram full vitamins and exotic ingredients, claiming they'll give you a natural boost. And guess what, it was safe. Had no issues! I then discovered it was an energy drink and was gobsmacked. This really helped my confidence. But that would also explain why I was slowly becoming addicted to the thing. So, that's my word of caution, this stuff is addictive. I make a conscious effort not to buy it too often. I got to a point where I felt I couldn't focus without it, which obviously wasn't true. I limit myself to 1 a day when I have it. I think if I have it for long periods of time it can aggravate my heart a little, but I can't say that for sure as that could be chance as, like I said, this is my new normal now. The flavour is delicious! Just the flavour alone puts me in the right frame of mind. And there's something about fizzy drinks that just wakes up the senses. It's a low sugar drink (in comparison to other sodas/energy drinks), as most of it is sweetener. It's just really satisfying. The one con is that this stuff is expensive. Especially if you buy the smaller packs in person. It's cheaper (most of the time) to buy it here. Sometimes though there's no difference in price as the price fluctuates. So to summarise: - Energy drinks aren't good for you. But if you're going to drink one, drink this one.

So much better than the "others"....
By "others" you know which brands I mean. I bought this to try and fill the gap left since I gave them up but still wanted a little lift. I don't like coffee so my mid-morning consists of a can of this and this alone. It's so much nicer than I thought it would be. I've stayed loyal to the original flavour as its so mild. It's a hard flavour to describe - think very mild limeade. At first I was surprised it wasn't fizzy but have realised its so much nicer that way.

Energy drinks that make you keep going and going!
A bit of background: I've tried all sorts of energy drinks over the years, from massive cans of Monster to Red Bull to some really obscure Polish brands, but each and every one of them had the same general problem - they're packed full of sugar or sweeteners with a bit of caffeine and a few vitamins. You get a boom of energy from them, but it doesn't really last, and will wear off quickly, and I find that they tended to stimulate my appetite and make me go snacking as well. These ones, on the other hand, don't actually have that much sugar in them: the back of the can lists 19 calories and 4.5g of sugar per 100ml - as the product is actually 250ml, that means 47 calories a can and 11.25g of sugar per can. That's very good for an energy drink, and it shows in what it does: counting more on a bit of caffeine and a variety of vitamins, the boom you get from a can of Tenzing isn't a sugar rush, but a surge of *actual* energy, burning hotter and for longer than sugar does...and without the crash that you can get from other energy drinks. I've tried a lot of energy drinks over the years, but this is perhaps the only one that I've found with this kind of ability - if you're in the market for a drink like this for whatever purpose, whether it be for exercise, work or just for a little kick up in the morning, this is probably the best one on the market today. My only complaint is about the flavor - the lack of sugars can make it seem a bit bitter at first, but you get used to it after a while. Consider checking out the alternative flavors if this one isn't up your alley.

Good alternative energy
These TENZING drinks are a good alternative energy drink. They contain much more natural ingredients than a lot of the mainstream brands do, meaning they are less harmful to your body long term. They have a nice sweet taste to them and do give me a nice boost in focus and productivity. They are lower in sugar than other brands which I like, and I like they are entirely plant based so they are vegan. I think they are pretty good value for money when bought in bulk like this as you can pick them up for a reasonable price. Recommended to try and see if you enjoy it.

My favourite drink by far!
I absolutely love tenzing, I wish you could get it everywhere. I drink it daily (I don’t drink tea or coffee) and have done for years now. The original flavour is by far the best, I will drink the apple and sea berry if I can’t get original as it is a nice treat (tastes a bit like cider?!) but these two flavours are the hardest to come by! Tesco have started selling it but always the rubbish flavours (sorry tenzing but the other flavours are really vile) I wish more places would do the original flavour!! Even when I find it in petrol stations and small shops it is never the good flavours. Anyway if you are looking for a healthier, vegan, amazing tasting energy drink look no further!

Substitute for redbull
I had been addicted to redbull but decided to give it up. I now drink tenzing as it is is much healthier with all natural ingredient. I do buy this every month and drink one every day. Taste very delightful. :)
