I don't even know where to start. This food thermometer is just amazing. Instant temperature reading and there is a "hold" button on top of the device which is very handy. The thermometer will turn on as soon as you lift the stick and will go back to sleep mode once it's folded back for battery saving. It's waterproof which is amazing and there is a bottle opener as well on it! The magnetic size is very handy if you want to attach it to your fridge or any other appliances. It's slightly bigger than expected but I don't see any issues with this. The best part in my opinion is the auto rotation of the screen for left or right-handed users which is really cool and smart! Lightweight, and easy to use and you can change the temperature display to Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees. I've tested it with meat, water, and oil so far and the readings were 99% accurate. I would highly recommend it.

Got this for my husband and he LOVES it! He tested it against his other thermometers and it gave the fastest, most precise reading compared to his others. It's great because he's left-handed, so it's easy for him to use it at the grill without burning his arm. The screen is nice and bright, even in the daylight, and for the price, it was worth it! It folds up nicely so storing is easy or you can stick it on the grill, it has a magnet. So far it's been very durable and the quality hasn't changed - very, very good. It's also nice and long, so you aren't putting your arm over flames. Glad I got it for him :)

Great thermo pen

The first thing I do with all thermometers, is check their accuracy. As my pictures show, I checked its ambience room temperature against my reliable mercury thermometer. A near perfect reading, just probably off by 0.2 degrees. I then boiled water and it read 101.5 degrees. I can accept that. But the thermometer has an excellent feature in which it can be calibrated by placing in insulated cup or tumbler of distilled water filled with distilled ice cubes and stir for one minute, then press two buttons simultaneously to calibrate to the 0 Celsius degrees temperature. So, I did just this, except, there was no need for calibration, the reading was 0.2 Celsius degrees. Superb. I have already used it to help me improve my milk frothing on my cappuccino and lattes where I need to have the milk at 60-68 degrees and a lamb roast where I needed the internal meat to be 74 degrees for a medium well-done cook. The probe is long and best results should be full entered into the meat then pulled back until tip is in centre. In case of curiosity, dear reader, the lamb roast and cappuccino were delicious! The display reading is large and illuminated. The illumination does time out but just move it slightly, it lights up again...seems like it has a motion sensor? The packaging is professional and thought out with perfect English grammar instructions (at least to my grammatical level of a South Londoner's English!). They even included an AA battery and screwdriver to open the battery cover door. I have not used the bottle opener so can't comment on that but that's not what I got this for and really have no desire to open bottles with a meat temperature. It comes with a lifetime guarantee as long as it is registered online. Top marks for this very useful and well calibrated kitchen device.

I'm used this for well over a year, and I find myself reaching for it all the time. I had no idea that I was going to use it so much, but it is a pleasure to use, and most helpful is the short response time which allows finding out food temperatures quickly. Its design and durability is great. It shuts down the display when not in use but quickly comes to life with just a small movement. The display can be disabled by folding the probe back. Although the selling price fluctuates in price, it is always an excellent value at any price and I cannot think of anything that needs improvement. Highly recommended.
