Very nice connector
I had to make an adapter from a mini-DIN 8 to a DB-9 and was unsure of the exact pinout I might need, so I didn't want a solder connector, in case I needed to make adjustments. This worked quickly and easily, although I did pull out my soldering iron to tin the bare wires before I inserted them into this adapter. Turns out I got the pinout right the first time, but I'm still happy I used this type of product, and I would use it again.

Great way to wire a DB25 connector and change wires
Building a programming cable for a scanner programmer and needed a way to change configuration until it programmed the scanner correctly and didn't want to keep soldering and unsoldering connections. This setup worked great, not that much larger than a standard DB25 and still fit the connector on the laptop and scanner. Will buy more as needed.

J'ai dû me fabriquer un câble avec cette sortie pour pouvoir connecter un boitier de programmation sur ma moto, pour le prix, je me suis dit que ça valais le coup de tenté l'expérience, car le câble d'origine à 100€ c'était un peu cher. Au final aucun soucis, la communication entre le véhicule, le boitier et le PC se fait super bien. Pas de bug ou déconnexion, donc j'ai fait une belle économie.

I liked the way the unit is made and how the cover cones off and the screw terminals are nicely accessible. I used it to build a special cable for my Solar Assistant and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

Pefrekt für Bastler, die öfters mal die Belegung ändern
Wer nur eine RS232 Schnittstelle verbinden will braucht dieses Produkt nicht. Wenn man aber CAN Bus, FlexRay und ähnliche Schnitstellen mal mit Abschlußwiderstend und mal ohne betreibt hat viel Freude daran, einfach mal schnell ohne löten etwas ändern zu können. Genau so habe ich mir das vorgestellt.
