I received 2 flavors made with the original ingredients and 2 flavors made with the new ingredients which adds buckwheat flour. The texture of the flavors made with the new ingredients is tougher and crunchier and less pleasant than the original. Also, not a fan of buckwheat which is considered a pseudo-grain. I deducted one star because I’m disappointed in the new ingredients and did not enjoy consuming the 2 flavors made with the buckwheat flour, but at least I got to enjoy the other 2.

I used to love cinnamon and honey varieties as a snack when the "flour" used was only cassava, but ever since they switched to adding other ingredients, our most sensitive eaters have been unable to consume the flavored versions without reaction. These versions now include "seed and veggie flour" as the first ingredient. I am glad that the company at least changed the plain version back to cassava only for those of us that cannot consume other starches besides that. I do wish that it were possible for the other varieties to be switched back as well so that we could have more flavor options for cereal. The only variety I'm able to eat is the plain version. As far as the plain version, it has a satisfying crunch. Quite frankly, I think it tastes better when only cassava is used as well. I would note that the plain version also has zero sugar, an ingredient do which some are also reactive. While I understand the company wanting to incorporate more nutritious ingredients, for some of us, getting sufficient calories on a sensitive stomach needs to be balanced with increased nutritional value. One can always add other foods that have additional vitamins such as berries or bananas. As far as the plain version, the main nutritional benefits it offers on its own are 25 grams of carbs per serving, two grams of dietary fiber, 2% of the daily value recommended for iron, and 4% of the daily value for vitamin C. If you're just looking for a grain-free cereal, all the varieties may work for you, but everything but the plain version will be a no-go for the present if you're limited to cassava (in addition to if you are sensitive to sugar).

The description lists buckwheat in the 4 pack but only 2 of them have buckwheat.

I fell in love with this cereal. Living on the AIP diet can be difficult, but finding joy in premade treats like this are fantastic!! The cereal I purchased on Amazon was perfect. I was then surprised to find this cereal at my local grocery store! Of course in the store it was much less expensive and found it on sale. So I bought several boxes. The cereal I purchased at the local store, same packaging, ingredients, (and brand of course) were drastically different cereals. Maybe the production varies greatly from batch to batch? I'm not sure, but just know you may get a varied product at anytime. That would explain the drastically differing product reviews that seem to be more than differences in personal taste.

Love Love Love the product I highly recommend. The packaging was not so great. The box with 4 boxes was damaged which ruined 2 of the boxes and cereal was crushed in one of them. Amazon box was not damaged. I believe during the packaging process the boxes were damaged.
