I looked at a lot of microphones and decided to purchase this one to do a podcast episode and it has worked out perfectly. It’s got a couple different connectors to it so it’s so easy to use and it works great.

You know, for the money I have to say this is one of the best value items I have ever gotten on Amazon. This thing looks great, seems to be built solid and comes with an instruction manual that is easy to read, even for me and I am 75, almost 76 years old!!! Best of all it sounds great and has reverb built in. I admit, today is my first day using it, but I absolutely love it so far.

I bought the ZealSound USB Microphone for casual gaming and starting a new podcast, and I am genuinely impressed with the quality considering the price point—it's an absolute steal! The sound quality is clear, crisp, and significantly better than any built-in laptop or headset mic I've used. The plug-and-play simplicity is fantastic; it worked instantly with both my Mac and PS5, which is a major win. Connects very good. It is pretty light weight. Color is beautiful. The features included, like the headphone output for zero-latency monitoring and the gain control knob, are typically found only on much more expensive mics. The sturdy stand and mute button are also huge pluses. While the sound quality is great for the price, the microphone is highly sensitive. It picks up minor background noises like keyboard clicks or heavy breathing easily. It requires a bit of tweaking with software settings (or positioning it perfectly) to eliminate those minor sounds. If you plan on recording in a very quiet environment, it's perfect; otherwise, prepare for some slight editing. Overall, the quality you get for this price is amazing, making it the best entry-level microphone on the market. Highly recommended for beginners and budget-conscious creators!

I’ve ordered a ton of stuff from Amazon over the years but this is my first review. I’m absolutely in LOVE with this microphone!!! I post song covers on YouTube and wanted an inexpensive mic to take my videos to the next level. I also wanted to be able to use it with my iPhone since that’s how I record all my videos. I was super disappointed when I ordered a lavalier mic of similar price but it didn’t pick up my guitar very well. After a ton of research, I nearly gave up on finding a decent mic for the same price. Then I found this gem and was impressed right out of the box. All I did was plug the mic into my phone and it worked perfectly! I didn’t change any of the settings which were all turned up to the max level including the echo effect. I loved it so much that I haven’t changed any of the settings and I record all my new videos as is. I swear it sounds like I’m in a recording studio with amazing acoustics! This mic is awesome because I don’t have to charge it and it doesn’t drain my phone battery. It’s lightweight and easy to use.

I bought this for WFH usage primarily (with lesser usage for gaming), and it's been a great product so far @ 1 week of high usage. The main draw was on-mic muting & pickup volume control as well as a built-in monitoring port 2.5mm plug, as I 1) frequently have a lot of different applications running and didn't want to add any other macros or apps to the screen juggle, and 2) have an old favorite pair of Bose that I still use occasionally. The sound quality the mic records and produces at proper range is superb; it has a heavy, durable and professional feel. I haven't researched the sound cancellation software/hardware that devices are using lately, but on recording and playback it appears to do a great job at getting rid of ambient background noise, and in-meeting feedback seems to indicate the same. The only thing I'm struggling with is adapting the usage to my desk setup. I hadn't put a lot of thought into the pickup range of the microphone, and I'm finding that putting the mic off to the side out of the way of my keyboard/mouse/macro range puts it out too far for me to be heard when I'm in my normal workflow; I have to turn my head and lean-in toward the mic. If I pull the mic front and center in front of my keyboard, I have to constantly shift it to adapt to my arm motions and sitting positions on long days... if I put it BEHIND the keyboard it starts interfering with my monitor view. Now that I've invested in it and am thinking through the issue, however, I can see that the features I bought it for -- the on-mic controls -- interfere with easy adaptability when looking into adding a shock-mount and boom arm for the device. I see there is one available for purchase WITH the microphone through ZealSound, and am wishing I had bought it instead. So, here's my feedback/recommendation for the producer/manufacturer: it may not be worthwhile to separate the shock-mount/boom-arm as a purchase from the microphone itself, in terms of distribution & cost-efficiency... but I do recommend you look into making a shock-mount adapter available for separate purchase. That way, users could pick one up and pair it with a purchase of the flexible arm mount from your store; or buy just the mount and use the device with a 3rd-party boom arm. Otherwise, kudos!! So far, this is a great buy.

Love this item. Works great. The battery life is great I can get a great recording session in before I even have to charge it up.

Best thing that accessories is supplied

I bought this product recently for vocals (singing) and these are my findings in the first few days 1. The product has lightning connectors with which you can connect directly to your phone and use to sing in apps like smule. The audio quality was better when singing directly with the recording camera 2. The best part is that it has a noice cancellation option which is very helpful when recording 3. Even when using direct with my phone it doesn't drain my battery much. 4. Voice quality is also good but i suggest buying a boom handle since the audio pickup is at the top of the mic 5. It has mute button, noice cancellation, headphone sound level button and mic gain button all the features beneficial for the user. Enjoying this product, will definitely recommend for the starters.

This microphone allows me to do just that. > Another good feature is you have to speak to the front of the mic instead of the side. This feature is so important for your ergonomy! This enables the microphone to stand on a corner of your desktop at 45 degrees (outside of the camera frame). The boomstick is not at all required! I can finally have a clutter-free desktop. > The microphone has some buttons on one of its sides. With other mics, you must place the driver towards you, so there is one preferred orientation. But with this one, you can place the mic in any orientation you like (buttons up or down); it only has to be at an angle that projects the grills toward you or your face (no need to be too exact!) > The microphone packs some great features; the echo is unique to this one only! When recording music and/or singing, this cannot be beaten! > Using a "C" type USB connection for the input makes it more accurate, easy and fun. Dislikes: > The packaging is below average. Not to take anything away, but the fact is, it rotates a full 360 degrees on the vertical plane! Recommend? > Absolutely! You cannot be wrong with this choice if you only care about podcasts, gaming, internet calling and amateur music recording without delving into useless numbers! > Just so nobody gets it wrong, this may not be a studio-quality microphone for professional music recording.
