(10895) Black Beauty Sunny Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (1 lb)

Always refreshing to have new fresh green grass.

Used this to do large areas of lawn repair on my front lawn. Dethatched the entire area, put down a bunch of Scotts Lawn Start soil, and this seed, and within 2 weeks it was practically entirely full and within 3 weeks it was in enough to be mowed. Great product.

I would say solid 4.5 stars Patience is key the first time I used this brand I got desperate at the 1 week mark but as I used on different lawns I notice this is a 10-20 day germination but when it does it come in it comes like a bomb. I've had great results I've use many brands but the color and consistency of Jonathan's cant be beat. In the photo this was a complete strip till and redo front lawn from spring to fall

Product in no way covers the amount suggested using a Scott’s rotary spreader! Maybe 2/3 of what it supposed to cover.

Just as advertised.

Was disappointed in the amount of grass that came up from the seed. What came up is green and healthy, but it shouldn’t take 2 lbs across 400 sq feet to get a patchy turf. Ground was properly prepped and seed was kept moist for 14 days.

This grass seed is incredible! We spread it and the grass is coming up so fast and thick! I highly recommend it

Very disappointed with the product little 2 nothing grew in the spots I placed it in had better results with the walmart brand
