Great guitar strings ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
These strings sound great and feel really good when playing. The tone is clear and bright, and they stay in tune well. I’ve been very happy with them so far and would definitely use them again. 🎸

Favorite strings by far!
These are the only strings I buy. I like strings that last awhile and don't rust. The tone is tight and bright. There are strings that sound slightly better but the tradeoff is worth it. This strings have incredible playability, especially if you are a beginner. They are smooth as butter which means sliding up and down the fret board doesn't hurt at all. Bending is fine, a bit slippery from the coating but good technique can overcome this. My favorite part: they stay in tune and last FOREVER. I've had sets last 4-5 months. Never had a break in almost 20 sets, even during aggressive stretches on a Floyd rose.

First time trying coated strings and wont look back
Finally got around to trying coated strings and I have to say they are worth every penny. I burn through regular strings fast even the more expensive ones and I love that weeks later these are still feeling and sounding brand new out of the box. They do have a slick feel to them which I actually really enjoy. they break in fast and stay in tune great. Can't see myself using any other strings from here out

Great Strings
Truly great strings that last. I've tried several brands of strings but for my fingers these are the best. Smooth, great tone, and they last a long time without getting that old string "muddy" tone. They may cost a little more but worth every penny.

Best strings, one small problem
Awesome coating but for the strings that have the rust- proof coating... I don't know if it's the humidity of my room, but they start to get discolored after awhile. I wish there was a way to coat the steel smaller strings to avoid this... other than that- these last 3-4x as long as the slinky's I used to use.

Once you break them in and get over the slickness of the strings
...you'll find it hard to go back to "regular" nickel-wound varieties. At roughly $10-$13 for a set, depending upon where you buy them from, they are pricey but the longevity and ease of playing make them worth it. As a beginner guitar player who is still exploring accessories that best suit him, I played the 0.10-0.46 set (and I was fortunate to find a low price of $5.99/set on Amazon) and they felt like I was playing a 0.09-0.42 set from the likes of Ernie Ball, D'addario, etc. I had some initial issues with how slick the string surface was due to the coating and kept losing my grip on the strings, but once I got used to them, they played like a dream. Vibratos, bends, pull-offs, and slides felt much easier and very pronounced. I put on a set in December 2014, and with minimal maintenance (brushing a Dunlop System 65 string cleaner every week or 10 days of playing), they looked bright and shiny well into March/April of this year, while maintaining much of the original tone. When I swapped them with a D'addario Regular Light EXL110-3D set recently (for comparison sake), I could really tell the difference as my fingers simply couldn't glide over the D'addarios with ease as they did with these babies. I may not be a 100% convert yet since I am still exploring things as a beginner, but I think I do have a very strong contender for a mainstay for my musical pursuits.

Lasted Over A Year!
Just a follow up to an Elixir purchase... As a rule, I put the date, and guitar on which I replaced the strings on the empty package at the time of replacement. I have 12 guitars so it's a good rule to keep an eye on which strings were replaced when, etc. I was amazed that these particular strings on this particular guitar lasted this long! Fourteen months from the last replacement! The reason this is so significant, is because of all the guitars I own, this particular guitar is my go to practice guitar. So it's used more often and for longer periods of time than any other guitar I own. And the funny thing is, I could have left the strings on even longer! (But I had the new set sitting on my desk for a few months and just felt this Sunday was a perfect time to replace them.) :) One thing to note, I do wipe the strings down every time I'm done playing and my hands are always clean before picking the guitar up. I know some folks have alien acid for sweat and never wipe their guitars down after they play. That's not the case here. Also, I do often use a treated guitar cloth from GHS specifically designed to make strings last. It's a brilliant product that can be found on Amazon and eBay. That cloth lasts a very long time too. I thank God for Elixir strings! Having to replace strings on all these guitars is not only a chore... but expensive! Elixirs are worth the price and worth a test run if you've never used them before. Thanks for reading.

Corde durevoli dall'ottimo feeling.
