Solid Charger – Great Value and Performance
This is a great charger — well-built, reliable, and produces a good charge. It feels sturdy and works exactly as expected. For the price, it’s an excellent value and definitely worth picking up if you need a dependable battery charger. Highly recommend!

Great accessory
Does the job quickly.

The charger that should have come with the camera.
This charger is smaller than the one that comes with the camera. It charges two batteries and it uses USB-C which opens up all sorts of possibilities for where I can charge when traveling.

Battery Charger BC-ZD1
The Sony USB PD charger performs as well as the plugged in chargers. It is much better and about twice as fast as a typical generic two battery USB chargers. You do need at least a 30W USB PD charger for 2 batteries at full speed, which is a little over 2 hours for two nearly dead batteries. It is great for travel when you don't have time to wait or find multiple AC outlets.

No Cable or power brick in the box BEWARE
The charger works. I had to buy a usb-c cable and a 30w power brick to do so. Nothing comes in the box but the charger itself. I hope Sony in the future at least include a cable for the price they are charging us.

Essential accessory. Make sure you have a 30w charger.
If I had known this was available, I would not have bought the Sony BC-QZ1 AC charger, which only charges one battery at a time on AC power. This BC-ZD1 is so much more useful because not only does it charge 2 batteries at a time, but it can do so by USB-C. I can charge at home with AC power, or on the go with a portable power bank. Be sure that your charger or power bank is capable of outputting 30W or greater. That old USB charger that came with your iPhone won't be sufficient. I'm a little surprised Sony didn't include one, considering how expensive this thing is.

I bought 4 of them and they won't charge any of my Sony Batteries.
I bought 4 of these chargers. I connected them to 4 different USB-C cables and to 4 different power blocks. None of them work! None of the Sony OEM batteries got any charge. Plus these chargers didn't come with any USB-C cables! Plus the instruction manual didn't give any clear instructions about how the charger properly works. Sony, what is the solution here?

It’s heavy, made of metal?!? It’s cold to the touch, it can charge 2 batteries at the same time and do it quickly. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t this pricey…

I just got 1 of these, and a replacement. NONE OF THEM WORKED... DO NOT GET THEM. WASTE OF TIME. I have a 50W charging cable and charing block, both 50-60W each. None of the chargers work.

This charger is definitely the fastest one out there. It is able to fast charge both of my batteries from dead in about 2.5 hours with a 100W USB PD charger. The only downside is the insane coil whine while charging. It is very noticeable in a quiet room.
