The Dr. James Dobson Parenting Collection

This book truly came in handy for me. I am a newly saved single mom of 2 difficult acting strong willed children, and I love how this book gives Scriptures to back up the suggestions given. We had a good Bible study one evening and I was able to implement a passage from the second book "The New Strong-Willed Child" into the lesson. Ever since I got this book, I have been highlighting and have been able to see things from a different perspective. I am almost done with "The New Strong-Willed Child", then I will get to the other two remaining books. Thank you Dr. James Dobson for this wonderful resource, which is helpful for single parent and two-parent households alike.

This book is insightful and a great bargain! I have the original Dare to Discpline and have read it. This book is great, because it combines 3 awesome works of Dr. Dobson's so I don't have to pick up different books at different books for different times, it's all in one book and I can flip around through it, depending on the situation I am trying to resolve or learn about. Very practical and sound advice and information.

Great books, conveniently packaged together. I was a fan of Dr. James Dobson's books when raising my own children, 20 years ago. When a friend of mine was sharing some family struggles, I wanted to share what had helped me. She has been delighted with them; His knowledge and great insights have been a big assistance to her and her family.

This is an awesome book, and I told my wife I may purchase extra copies to hand out to harried parents that I see when we go to restaurants or just around town. Children need boundaries, and parents need to be consistent. Dr. Dobson offers a lot of practical advice for how to make life pleasant and enjoyable both for the child and the parents. I'm not sure why so many parents are afraid of discipline. Frankly, I look at their lives and wonder how they aren't completely miserable with the way their kids don't obey when they are given instructions on their behavior. Our daughter is well-loved, and she knows it. She also obeys us, and we enjoy being with her.

There are some great techniques in this novel. Not every suggestion will be appropriate for the individual needs of your little one, but you can pick and choose what's best for your family and apply it. More info never hurts when it comes to dealing with your little one's emotional, mental, and physical welfare. This is certainly a great reference guide.

I bought this for my son for his daughter I read this when my daughter was young loved it really helped me I know it will help him

I had the privildge of having these three James Dobson books at my disposal when I was raising my children back in the 80's-90's. They are fantastic books, containing pearls of wisdom. They gave me much needed truth and guidance - lets face it...children do not come with instructions, and the way our parents did it may not be the right or effective way. These books were and integral part of my raising of children. Truth and wisdom do not change over time - so these books are still applicable today.

Dr. Dobson's books were my go-to guide when my boys (now 27 and 24) were growing up. His books provide advice/recommendations that are more "real life" and practical than other books I have read. Both my sons look to Dr. Dobson now for advice about disciplining my grandchildren!

Yes, he does advocate for spanking but whether you spank or not there is a ton of wisdom in this book. Both biblical and professional. Definitely recommend parents to read no matter what their stand is! He is highly qualified.

This book was recommended to me by my own parents. They swore by Dr.Dobson when they were raising us. I have been addicted to the three in one book. It just confirms so many things that as a parent you worry about. Should you? shouldn't you? Education and discipline etc... All in all it is an excellent book for any parent that just needs guidance.

When Dr James Dobson writes about parenting, you must know it's going be sound teaching coming from an expert such as himself. He is one of the most influential people in the world. This is definitely worth buying.
