F1 2018 Headline Edition – PlayStation 4

Awesome game. It is better than the 2017 and that one is also a great game. The tracks look significantly better. They look more realistic. Now you see a kind of fogginess, mist on the distance which makes the whole look more realistic. Love the ambience and changes in lighting during the race. Also on the spectator camera (the one where you watch other people race) cars look like they are on the track and not floating on it like they did in 2017. You can adjust the difficulty of the game so it can be a great simulator or just fun. The new ranking system for online play is also great. No more bumping cars crazy drivers, if you don't want to. You can also adjust how sensitive the controller or wheel is. Maybe that was already in 2017 but I didn't know about it. I still need to play the career mode but last year's was amazing so I bet it is as good as last years. I loved the practice laps, especially the part where you need to go through virtual gates. By going through the gates you take the best racing lane. Also the development map was good. I wish the smoke from the tires and when getting in the dirt/sand would stay longer floating. That would make it look more realistic. But that would be just a nice thing to have. Great game, buy it if you love racing.

One of the best F1 games of all time, and one of my favorites! Codemasters did a great job this year!! I'm on the ps4 controller and they have made it so much better to play on the pad! I'm so much faster as well! And the sounds are so much better also! The 2018 cars as well as the classic cars all sound amazing! All of them are pretty darn accurate! The career mode is deeper than ever, although I'm not a big career mode person! I just go into quick race mode but career is much more realistic and you feel like a real F1 driver with interviews, contract negotiations, car development, and more! F1 2018 is a must have for all F1 fans! It truly is the best Codemasters F1 game to date! It has had a couple little glitches in the race intro and there was some stuttering in the replays on ps4 pro. They did release a patch on ps4 and it fixed the stuttering. Other then that, it's a great game!

F1 2018 is a great game. The career mode is what I play and it's very fun and now more interactive with the media questions. Some subtle changes from last year like ERS deployment. Only gripe would be to add more tracks and add the youth drivers. The game isn't exceptionally big as far as GB's go so why not make it a bit bigger with variety of tracks and other drivers who currently are test or youth drivers for the teams? Idk only issue I have and that's with Codemasters not the game directly. Great racing game, definitely recommend.

This game is very impressive, looks very realistic. You can't pass a car through a 'shortcut' (like in Need for Seed) because it's illegal and you have to brake so the card you passed illegally passes you. When it's raining the road turns slippery. One thing I didn't like is that you can't play with another person on the same PS4 with a split screen (like in Gran Turismo games).

Fantastic game, coming from F1 2012 this is a HUGE leap in the coding of physics and handling of the car. The tire sim is phenomenal minus Singapore (probably need to stiffen the setup) and the career mode is great with the R&D portion as well as the practice programs you can run to get a good feel for track and pace.

This game is really good. It is an accurate simulation of racing. The graphics blow me away. The physics are insanely good. If you mess up, it's because you didnt have the correct line, correct setup from practice, correct gear or shifting, point is that it was your fault. The game is very fair, which is indicative of a good simulator. These days, it's hard to find a sport game that is a simulation like it should be. Example: madden lol. If you love racing, you should buy this game

I'm extremely disappointed in this purchase.. I bought it for my fiance for his birthday (pre-order in early August) and it came in the mail yesterday. He was beside himself to play the game. When he attempted to get the download process going, it all went downhill from there. The disc doesn't download past about 50MB, then gets stuck and enters a "pause mode" that remains stuck. There were several times we rebooted the PS4 and deleted any data downloaded and tried again, which led do NO progression. My fiance even tried to use a disc laser cleanser CD for the PS4, as well as power dusting out his entire PS4. STILL NOTHING. I'm not sure whether this is on Amazon's behalf, or if this is the manufacturer's poor work, but either way, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! We are trying to get to the bottom of the issue, so if anyone (including Amazon team members) has ANY insight whatsoever, PLEASE let me know in whatever form of communication you are able to do so with. So extremely disappointing... 😒🙄
