What great value! They aren't the most stylish or first ...
what can I say about these boots!! What great value! They aren't the most stylish or first boot you'd think to buy when walking or doing horse duty. But after so many years of buying wife various horse-yard boots and them failing so quickly for one reason or other I persuaded her to try a wellie. She has had wellies before and never objected and loved some of the other versions of those we purchased but again, they just don't last 6 months, a year max! When you are buying footwear £45 - £150+ every 6 months to year it gets a bit tiresome and frustrating for wife or me to be looking for new footwear again and again. I purchased a very thick well known branded boot but my use it occasional compared to the wife who uses hers for horse yard duty, dog walking and even when we trek out walking as she does not like the Military boots I provided her. So, we looked at the reviews and I decided that if these last 3 months it would still work out cheaper than the alternatives we have been buying. 6 months on and still going strong so that has won we me over already. But, she says they fit well for her standard sized 5 foot, not too wide not too narrow, spacious but well fitting. She wears thick socks and they are very comfortable to wear with the boots. With thin 'office socks' they still fit and do not slip so much to cause rub or boot drag. The calf fits my wife well, with space to fit wrapped clothing like your trousers can when wrapping them around your calf to slip into the boot. They are not tight boots. They remain warm with the right socks on according to her and are comfortable in the sole and heel. Waterproof obviously and that is the major factor. Time will tell how the joins and material lasts but with the rubber being soft and pliable but clearly hard wearing still is what offers its fabulous comfort, long lasting attributes. Why not, Dunlop have been experts in rubber for such a long time and always provide good footwear, even their budget value wellies carry the same reputation.

Great, affordable wellies
I can't fault these wellies, they're very affordable and last me about 9 months with hard everyday use working with horses. I only have to replace them as the tread wears down (before any cracks appear!) I just put some insoles in and they're so comfortable

Good, but
Like these basic wellies, they are a snug fit on me. Be warned though, you will need to buy insoles too as not very warm or comfortable without them. Well made and sturdy, they should last a very long time as will only be used every now and then in extreme weather. Quite heavy, nice thick soles. Tricky to put on, but very easy to take off by yourself. I would assume they are fully waterproof.

Good value, but failed after a year
Very reasonably priced and comfortable, but after a year both boots developed splits and let in water. Bought these as replacements for much more expensive boots which also failed after a year. They are much better value for money, though still a shame they have to be thrown away after just a year.

Quite large for size
The rubber they are made from is thin and floppy, also im between a size 9 and a 10 depending on type of footwear, so I decided to go 9 and they will still need a thick pair of socks on. Saying all that, Ive gave them a 4 star rating because for the price they are well worth it if you are doing light work or walking the dog.
