I’ve tried so many boots my dog has hated all of them, taken them off, or refused to walk. These are actually the first boots that stay on AND my dog doesn’t totally hate them! He walks just fine, a little struggle to get on because he’s fluffy but def worth the struggle! His feet stayed dry and clean up until my dog started playing in the snow. But that’s a given because these are basically socks but the bottom is waterproof. The only thing is, he chewed up the zipper already and I have to order new ones, but it’s my fault for keeping it close for him to grab. Other wise these are a great choice!

Followed sizing guide and these are way too small not only that but I bought these brand new not “gently used” and they came out of the package very dirty and covered in dog hair

I love how long they are. My yorkie is all legs. It makes it easier to put on her and it stays up. Harder for her to kick off like the shorter ones.

I have a 6 lb dog and they were too big. But, I woukd have bought the next size down if they had made one. Good construction and the style was great. Just too large at xs.

Finding the right boots for your dog that are waterproof and suitable to wear when it rains and in the winter has been difficult. These aren't waterproof, I have to hang them up to dry if I put them on her during wet weather. Although they have 2 strips of velcro they don't stay on very well. I had to add a shoelace to each boot. I tie it so it's snug then the boots stay on. But something is better than nothing. If someone out there has found the right boot, please let me know. I purchased this product as new but when I received it there were obvious signs of wear on them including dried on mud and dried pieces of grass in the straps. But besides that the shoes themselves are pretty decent. They were not impossible to put on and the zipper function did help! They did stay on for the most part and seem to function well enough. I haven’t decided wether to return them or not as Amazon has been extremely difficult to deal with lately and has messed up a number of my orders so it may not be worth the hassle and the wait to get a new pair. But the principle stands that if you advertise a product as new, they should not be sending obviously used items!! I’ve been very disappointed with Amazons customer service lately to the point where they are now my last resort instead of my first option! But as for the shoes, if they weren’t already used and dirty I would have given at least 3 if not 4 stars.

After 2 months of use, I will continue to use my VALFRID anti slip sock/boots for my German Shepherd that has Degenerative Myelopathy with curling back paws that slip on hardwood floors. Made of durable rubber, they have great traction, easy to use, and slip on easily and come off easily. Great for around the house. I take them off though when outside and have another orthotic for use. Don't put them on super tight as this chokes blood supply to paw. The tradeoff is you may have to adjust throughout the day, but well worth it. He has grown used to the boots and even appreciates the traction.

PUT MY DOG IN THE ER VET. They treat the rubber with a chemical in the plant. She is allergic to rock salt so I put the boots on her usual brand wore out- within an hour her feet swelled up to three times their usual size, so much so her skin started cracking and bleeding. She was only in them for a 10 minute walk, and they weren’t laced up tight. We rushed her to the ER vet and they stated the boots had been treated by chemicals, and she was having a severe reaction. Some paws were worse than others due to the amount of chemicals in each- whatever it is isn’t distributed evenly, so you could end up with massive amounts of chemicals in one paw. Hundreds of dollars later she was finally stable enough to go home. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT PURCHASE. I will be reporting this seller to Amazon for not disclosing this information.
