It’s a great product

It's cute. My son is autistic and he thinks its really cool. The sweet spot for his idea of a perfect hotdog is to cook the hotdogs only, for 2 minutes (or at least I think that's what the 2 means on the dial) and then when that pops up, he uses a pair of tongs and flips the hotdogs over, put the dogs and the buns in and cooks for 1 more minute (or 1 on the dial). The bottom tray slides out and it was easy for him to wash the hotdog drippings off and wipe it dry and put it back together. I put it in his Christmas stocking and for how cool he thinks it is, it was worth every bit of the $21 I paid for it. **Helpful hint, we heated it up for a few minutes to burn off the new toaster smell. It will smoke very briefly, but it, and the smell goes away very quickly.

You would be better off building a fire from scratch, and scavenging the pork/beef and making your own hot dogs than using this thing. Buns get stuck, doesn't cook the dogs.

Cheaply made.. doesn’t cook evenly..

Absolute junk, sausages do not fit. It burns the outside of the bun while the inside is still white and cold. It’s cheap garbage at best and a company tries to camouflage the fact by calling it nostalgia.
