Nice taste but a little pricey
I have tried lots of similar recipes to this and this is one of the nicest however it’s not a very good value for money, maybe a little over priced at £29.99. Nice taste and packing is very funky

Luxurious in look, taste and price!
In the past, if someone had told me that I was about to eat part of a £30 (at the time of ordering) bar of chocolate, I would have told them to have a word with themselves… This very expensive Dubai chocolate bar arrived in a cardboard box, inside of which was the very colourfully wrapped bar of thick chocolate and an equally colourful branded gift bag. The consistent branding gives the product a modern and luxurious feel. The sense of luxury continues when you actually unwrap the bar. The bar is generously thick and looks awesome in pink, green, and chocolate brown. The taste is, as you might expect, quite complex. For me, I mostly get cereal and the odd, beautiful hint of fruity pomegranate, but unfortunately little in the way of pistachio. It’s sweet, but I don’t think it’s overly sweet. That being said, a few blocks are enough; save the rest for another day 😊 As I haven’t had chocolate like this before, I thought I would share it with my immediate family. As one of my family members is a coeliac, all items have to be thoroughly checked. Having read the ingredients of this product, I noted the allergen statement: ‘…this product might contain wheat gluten, nuts, dairy products, and sesame seeds…’. This is pretty much a standard disclaimer for products made in a multi-food environment. However, when I researched the ingredients further, I found that traditional Kunafa contains gluten unless it has been specifically made from gluten-free wheat. Due to the disclaimer, my relative would not have touched the product anyway, but I feel the manufacturer should state that gluten will be present, not might be. Presentation-wise, this product is top-notch. Taste-wise, I really like it, but maybe not £30 like it. As for the ingredients, the standard disclaimer would have prevented any mishap, but I feel strongly that what we are putting into our bodies should always be listed accurately.

fad
The pomegranate in this spoils it for me personally, it is too overpowering and drowns out the other flavours. It's intended as a gift because it comes with a gift bag inside the box (squashed into the base) but I wouldn't be comfortable giving it as a gift because its just a single chocolate bar and the pomegranate flavour is quite bold so not everyone will like it. The chocolate used seems fairly average quality too. In mine the sides/top had separated from the chocolate base in a perfectly straight line all the way around which to me shows its a food manufacturing quality issue where the chocolate moulds haven't worked as well as they should do to join bits together. According to the wrapper its made in Saudi Arabia. I was really looking forward to this but sadly I was disappointed by the taste, quality and price.

Delicious
This chocolate bar is beautiful to look at and comes very nicely packaged, even with a little gift bag. It's all brightly coloured to represent the flavour which I think is a nice touch. The chocolate has a decent shelf life (August 2025) and doesn't need to be refrigerated. I was pleasantly surprised by how filled it is, and it has really defined layers which is quite impressive. The flavour is delicious, the pomegranate really makes it feel quite fresh and cuts through the rich and creamy pistachio, it almost tastes more like raspberry than pomegranate but is very enjoyable. I loved the crunch from the kunafa too, it adds a nice texture to it rather than it just being all creamy. Overall, it's a beautiful chocolate bar, almost like a piece of artwork. It tastes delicious too and is filled to the brim. I probably would not want to pay the price they are asking for it unless it was for a very special occasion, but would eagerly have some again if the opportunity arose.

Wouldn't buy this again
The flavour wasn't to my liking, I was hoping for the original flavour that i saw on tiktok but i clearly didnt read the description correctly, it did come beautifully packaged though but it was very melted possibly due to being in a hot van all day which isn't the fault of the seller.

A nice treat
In a world full of imitations, these are the real deal in “Dubai” chocolate. These are a very hefty weight, very thick and come in very vibrant packaging that come with an individual gift bag. This specific bar has a touch raspberry which gives it a sharpness in taste that works well with the chocolate. I do think the price is a little high, although this is a large chocolate bar and it does come very well packaged. If you are a chocolate connoisseur, this is not the thing for you as the chocolate is, in my opinion, not the highest of quality however it has come from Saudi Arabia so will have been designed to fit with the temperatures there. This is a very nice thing to have as a treat, if you want to just try “Dubai” chocolate, then I’d try a cheaper alternative.

Quite sweet, but lovely taste. Expensive.
The chocolate bar comes with a little bag, superb if you are gifting the bar. It a quality bag, as is the wrapping on the bar itself. The bar is fairly large and pretty thick too. I have tried the chocolate both at room temperature and fridge temperature. Both are nice, but I prefer from the fridge, I found room temperature made it all a little gooey. All down to personal taste at the end of the day. I like my chocolate cool. The taste was interesting, lots of different flavours battling for supremacy. You get a hit of sweetness from the pomegranate, then the richness of the chocolate mixed with the nutty creamy pistachio. It works together. I was surprised by the taste and it grew on me the more I ate. I have to take a star away because I'm struggling to see how it can be worth £29.99 (at the time of this review). It's a lovely taste for sure, but just seems overpriced. ---------------------------- This review is for an item I received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. I always review objectively, and only award 5 stars if I feel a product is worth it and is something that I would be happy to buy.

Does not conform to UK food labelling and packaging requirements
I'm sorry to say that this product does not appear to conform to the following UK food labelling and packaging requirements: *If your food or drink product has 2 or more ingredients (including any additives), you must list them all. Ingredients must be listed in order of weight, with the main ingredient first. *You must highlight allergens on the label using a different font, style or background colour. You must also list them in the ingredients. This bar of Crush Dubai chocolate with pistachio and pomegranate gives (barely legible) nutrition facts, but the ingredients are listed as "pistachio, kunafa, butter vegetable, filling pistachio, filling pomegranate, chocolate", and the allergen statement is also inadequate. Although I like to know what's in anything I eat, and always read ingredients lists, I did try this chocolate, and found it far too sweet, with a cloying, perfume-like flavour. The chocolate covering is very thin and pale - the cocoa percentage must be very low. When I ordered it, the price was a ridiculous £29.99 - it's now £19.99 which is still a joke. It's a long time since I've felt so disappointed - and frankly, cross - about any product.
