If you expect a strong wind out of this fan, this isn't what you are looking for. But, if you want a gentle breeze that stirs the air and moves it towards you, this is a dandy little unit. We keep our home pretty cool during the winter and augment the heat in our living room with a Kerosene heater. The metal cage on top did not conduct enough heat into the base of the fan, so we simply placed it inside a metal 8x8 baking pan and voila! Worked like a charm. The pan catches the heat from the space heater and conducts it evenly to the fan base where it is hot enough now to activate the fan. From five feet away we can just barely feel air movement, but the room overall feels much more evenly heated and is exactly what we were looking for. I recommend this little unit for moderately sized rooms.

If you are looking to get better heat circulation from your heater, whether wood or kerosene, I highly recommend this.

JOSSA COLLAR Heat Powered Buddy Heater Fan The set comes with the fan, an aluminum plate that is designed to safely slide onto the heater grill, and a magnetic thermometer and instructions that will take you to a video demonstrating how to assemble and attach them to your heater. The components were well packaged and arrived on time. The action of the fan is thermodynamic. The fan turns due to the heat of the heater which means NO added electric expense, it will quite literally pay for itself due to D batteries no longer being necessary to operate the heater's built-in blower. In fact, the fan seems more powerful than the blower in the heater was and therefore warms a larger area. Its simple but extremely effective design moves 150 CFM of warmed air, keeping it warm and comfy when we do laundry . The function is so simplistic and we don't need to worry about it shorting out. It's as quiet as a whisper and all of the air is warmed. It will pay for itself entirely the next time I would've had to buy batteries. Also, the fan can be pointed in different directions on the plate in order to change the warm air focus by 90°! This is one of the BEST purchases I've ever made!!

Works well, but not a great deal of air flow generated. We use this as an auxiliary fan on our propane stove when the power goes out. Needed 3 of them to move the air effectively

This little wood stove fan has BIG power to move the heated air! We are completely satisfied with how well it works. Highly recommended. So quiet, spins fast, definitely worth the money! To be completely honest when it arrived I thought there is no way this little fan can move the heated air around. I’m happy to say I was wrong. It is a fantastic furnace fan. The fast that it works so well with out being plugged in still blows my mind.

This fan works very well and moves a fair amount of air, especially for being completely heat powered. It starts up quickly once the stove warms up and runs quietly with no noticeable noise. It definitely helps circulate heat more evenly through the room. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone using a wood stove or fireplace.

I ordered two of these. Both work but one got bent possibly from shipping. They reached out to me and informed me that if any issues to let them know. so I did inform them of the wobbly fan and they without hesitation sent me another. The fans definitely spin once above 200 degrees and seem fully functional at 350-400. On my wood stove. I'd say for the price your getting a good product it doesn't move a boat load of air but again I weigh the price compared to ones that cost 200 plus dollars. Hard not to give a 5 star when they will replace your item without much hassle

It’s heavier than expected. Feels good quality. The is fan is heat activated, blades whirl if the stove is hot enough. This fan has 6 blades it does move some air, I did not keep the temp of my stove up for long because temp in house went up to 84’, too hot. The fan is stationary and does not oscillate. I have not had it going enough to give full review.

Really happy with this stove fan. I wasn’t sure how much difference it would actually make, but I was pleasantly surprised. It starts spinning on its own once the stove gets warm and is completely silent—you honestly forget it’s there. The heat definitely spreads around the room better, so it feels warmer more quickly and more evenly, instead of all the heat just staying near the stove. It also feels well built and sturdy, not flimsy at all. I love that it doesn’t need batteries or electricity—just place it on the stove and it does its job. Simple, effective, and well worth it if you use a wood burner regularly. Would happily recommend it.

The fan itself is a high quality well built unit that I could recommend, however only 1 star as the unit did not come with pictured bracket for Mr Heater - instead it was supplied with an inferior quality aluminium plate that does not suit Mr Heater grille - there’s no way this supplied aluminium plate could work with Mr Heater so product not as advertised.

El ventilador funciona de maravilla, se percibe el calor esparcido al menos unos 1. 20 mts. de distancia. Comenzó a operar entre el límite de la zona amarilla y la naranja que muestra el termómetro. (150 C) fue subiendo y se sostuvo a los 300 C ya en posición MD del "Mr Heater", casi en el límite entre la zona naranja (recomendada) y la zona roja. El sonido emitido por las aspas es mínimo. Muy buen servicio y producto.
