Halti Control Lead for Dogs | Black, 2m

I've had 3 of these leads now. The first was used while training a large, reactive collie for several years - it was an absolute game-changer. The versatility and ease of adjustment, as well as the extra handle loops, are amazing. As someone who sometimes struggles with grip in my hands, I really appreciate the extra handles and how soft the material is. The lead is good and strong. I only replaced the first one because my new puppy decided to chew it while in her teething piranha phase - it doesn't hold up well under insistent chewing, but most leads don't anyway. For the price point, and all the benefits, I really didn't mind having to replace it. I bought 2 more.

The HALTI Control Lead is excellent for managing my large dog during walks. Genuinely love this lead. Our medium/large dog is reactive to other dogs and used to lunge uncontrollably towards most other dogs we passed. It would pull my back out, terrify me and also alarm the other dogs and their owners. This lead connected to the d rings on the front and back of her harness has pretty much stopped the lunging altogether. We’ve been using it a year, and now we only need to connect it to one. The extra handle near the attachment point gives an extra layer of control when needed. It’s strong, a good length for short lead walking when connected at two points and a bit more freedom when connected at one. Comfortable in the hand with cushioning and extra handles. Improved our lives. Genuinely.

Good lead, but the rings and clasps are not the same quality as the older versions. Good length and thickness; strong material that would stop your pup chewing through it. Good weight, comfy to wear over the shoulder or as a belt if you want to go handsfree.

We've used this lead daily for about 4 months now and no sign of wear and tear at all. We use it to clip one end to the front of our dog's harness, and the other end to the back. Front one is good for road walking to stop him pulling, and having the back too just adds extra control. The two red loops are really good - I use the one in the middle as the main handle, and then the lower is down by his back so I can hold him a lot closer if I need to (i.e. waiting to cross a road). Then I also just use it like a long normal lead if I need to (you can create a loop at the end of it by clipping it onto itself). Having the double lead also makes things like tying him to a post etc. a lot easier than a normal lead would be. Very strong clips, has held up well when he's pulled. Would recommend!

We have a 28kg Lab who pulls quite hard on the lead. We've had the lead for 3 months and it hasn't shown any signs of wear. You can use it at multiple lengths although we primarily use it at the shortest length with the loop wrapped around the front which stops him pulling so hard. The closest red handle are well placed for quick grab-control and the middle one is great on the occasional trip to-and-from the car where it's easier to put the two dogs on one lead. Pros: - Multiple different lengths - Strong lead, nice to hold - Can hold multiple dogs on one lead - Different way to control dog (lead & harness, harness front & back, loop around front etc) Cons: - Others have mentioned broken clasps. Ours seem well built so cannot comment on durability consistency.

Best lead ive ever owned. Genuinely love this. The double clip is really helpful, can even take two dogs out on the same lead or said chain it. It feels strong, the handles are great. Nothing but love for this product 🥰

I didn't know if I'd like this leash. I bought the Halti harness at a local pet store and this leash was intended to go with it. So far I am more impressed with the leash's ability to manage my dog's pulling than the harness. You still need some strength to hold back a large determined dog, but there is no danger that the leash will fail. I especially appreciate the softness of the material on my hands. Usually they are chafed from the daily walk. Would recommend.

This leash is a bit of a game changer m, I love how this leash can be used in multiple ways - which is very surprising still learning how convenient this leash can be depending on the situation. We can walk two dogs, wrap it around our wastes for hands free walking and neatly tie off our dog temporarily outside neatly using the different hooks. The multiple grips for control over the walk, our dog is still working through reactivity. This leash is versatile and strong, which is even better with a harness. Again really good quality which is rare in a lot of things these days, and we will be ordering this one again, I honestly can't see us purchasing any other leash after this one.

Die Leine liegt super in der Hand und durch die leichte Polsterung schnürt sich auch unter Zug nichts ein. Sie wirkt stabil und solide verarbeitet. Die beiden zusätzlichen Handschlaufen geben in jeder Situation das Gefühl, den Hund besser unter Kontrolle zu haben und anleiten zu können. Die Leine bietet eine Ideale Ergänzung zum Halti Geschirr, ist aber auch solo absolut zu empfehlen. Wir haben zwei Stück in Gebrauch, für 2 Hunde mit je 30 kg und 20 kg.

I bought the double ended halti control leash and a halti optifit head collar for my almost 4 yr old 28 kg staffie cross who was a disaster to walk. Took me a couple of days to get the adjustments right but this last walk she was an absolute joy to walk. I feel that if I just had the lead or headcollar alone there would still be an improvement but this combination is SWEET. It’s FUN to walk again. Much less stressful! Arms still in sockets and not dizzy from being pulled in different directions. Definitely totally recommend!!
