An intoxicating scent journey
This is definitely a unisex fragrance, a 10/10 with me! There is a sweet, smoky, fruity opening that lasts and projects 2-3 ft for 6+ hours on my clothes, settling into a softer projection (1-2 ft) for another 6 hours. On my skin, lasts a good 6-8 hours. More powdery/vanillic facets enter in the mid and dry down and the top notes linger throughout. It is a really well blended fragrance. Was a little nervous about the apple shisha accord because I didnt want to smell like Ive been hanging out in a hookah bar, but I was pleasantly surprised that it just added an amazing depth to the journey. Not a safe blind buy, IMO, but you can get decants on Etsy and try it first. I fell in love at first sniff and was happy to find it on here at a really affordable price. Will always be in my fall/winter rotation :) Top Notes: Apple Shisha Accord, Pink Pepper Middle Notes: Cinnamon, Dates, Tobacco Base Notes: Vanilla, Caramel, Patchouli

After Maceration It Is A Beautiful, Sensual Experience
Lattafaās Mashrabya is the kind of fragrance that doesnāt just sit on the skināit lingers, whispers, and slowly pulls you in. From the very first spray, it announces itself as deep and dark, with a richness that feels intentional rather than overpowering. This is not a casual, toss-it-on scent; Mashrabya is an experience. The opening leans boldly spicy, immediately setting a mysterious tone. Thereās warmth here, but itās tempered by a subtle edge that keeps things intriguing. As it develops, the fragrance becomes increasingly smoky, like incense curling through the air in a dimly lit room. That smokiness gives Mashrabya its sultry backboneānever harsh, never ashyājust smooth, enveloping depth. What really makes Mashrabya special is how sensual it feels. Thereās a slow-burn quality to it, the kind that draws people closer without shouting for attention. Itās undeniably sexy, but in a confident, grown, self-assured way rather than something loud or flashy. Think quiet power, steady eye contact, and a lingering presence long after youāve left the room. As it settles into the skin, Mashrabya becomes warmer and more intimate, blending its spices and smoke into a velvety, slightly resinous finish. The balance is impressiveāit maintains its darkness while still feeling wearable and addictive. This is a fragrance that thrives at night, in cooler weather, or anytime you want to feel a little more magnetic than usual. Overall, Lattafa Mashrabya is bold without being overwhelming, seductive without trying too hard. Itās deep, dark, mysterious, and unapologetically sensualāa perfume for someone who enjoys presence, mood, and a touch of intrigue. If you love fragrances that feel confident, warm, and quietly intoxicating, Mashrabya deserves a spot on your shelf.

Cozy, Smoky, and Seriously Addictive
Lattafa Mashrabiya is one of the more interesting recent releases from the brand because it targets a newer niche DNA. The positioning is pretty clear. This sits firmly in the Kilian Smoking Hot lane, and from the first spray, the inspiration is easy to pick up. The opening leans warm and slightly edgy. You get a smoky-sweet blast with apple and spice, which immediately sets that Smoking Hot tone. Itās cozy but not purely gourmand. Thereās a dry, slightly charred nuance that keeps it from feeling like a dessert fragrance. As it develops, the DNA becomes more recognizable. The mid brings in warm cinnamon, tobacco-like smokiness, and sweet woods, which give it that addictive āsweet but darkā balance Smoking Hot is known for. It sits right between comforting and seductive. The drydown is where Mashrabiya really shines. You get vanilla, smoky woods, and lingering sweetness, creating that warm, slightly burnt-sugar style base that defines the original. It stays smooth and cozy for hours and feels very much in that modern Kilian gourmand-smoke lane. In terms of accuracy, this is one of the better interpretations of the Smoking Hot DNA so far. It captures: - the warm apple sweetness - the smoky shisha backbone - the cozy vanilla base Where it differs from the original is mostly refinement. Smoking Hot has: - smoother blending - more realistic smoky nuance - a more polished evolution Mashrabiya comes across slightly denser and more linear, but the overall vibe is very convincing. Performance is another strong point. Many impressions put this in the strong performer category, especially compared to niche gourmands that can be softer. You get solid longevity and a warm projection bubble that works well in cooler weather. Stylistically, this is firmly in the cozy cold-weather lane. It works best for: - fall and winter - evenings out - date nights - holiday season - colder climates It leans warm, inviting, and slightly seductive rather than loud or aggressive. One thing worth noting is that this DNA is inherently niche-leaning. Itās not a blind-buy-safe mass-appeal scent like blue designers. If you donāt like smoky gourmands, this probably wonāt convert you. But if Smoking Hot clicked for you, this makes immediate sense. Overall, Lattafa Mashrabiya succeeds because it captures the emotional appeal of Smoking Hot at a much lower price point. It may not match Kilianās refinement, but the warmth, sweetness, and smoky character are all there. For fans of cozy, slightly edgy gourmands, itās a very strong offering in that lane.

Gothicc baddie
Ohh my myy š im in love. This was a blind buy for me and I was a bit afraid I youtubed it up and down and someone didn't like it while others said it was addicting. And yes yes it is. Its soo attractive and so addictive. When I received it I could smell it as soon as I opened the box. Its Rich, expensive, attention grabbing. Im not even sure how to describe it well it give almost velvet dark petals there's a freshness thats also icy but yet uplifting. And then there's some sort of soft leather thats so addictive. Listen buy it. Tell your girlie because im getting a second bottle. This is like hot girl Gothic baddie but make it expensive and unforgettable

Dark, Daring, and Unapologetically Bold
Mashrabya is a bold, mysterious fragrance that leans deep, resinous, and spicy from the first spray. It opens with a burst of dark florals and smoky incense, immediately setting a dramatic tone. Thereās a richness to it, almost gothic in character, with hints of saffron and dried rose peeking through the darkness. As it begins to settle, the scent deepens further into warm woods, amber. TPaired with sweet amber and creamy sandalwood, it smooths out just enough to be wearable, but make no mistake - this is not a soft or shy scent. Thereās also a strong, sweet apple shisha base that gives Mashrabya its backbone. It has an air of confidence and attitude - perfect for someone who wants to make a statement. This is the kind of scent that fills a room and leaves an impression long after youāve left. In terms of performance, Mashrabya is a powerhouse. It projects heavily in the first few hours and easily lasts 8ā10 hours easily or more on skin, with even longer wear on clothes. One or two sprays is plenty; any more and it could easily become overwhelming. Mashrabya is best suited for cold weather or nighttime wear. Itās far too heavy for warm temperatures, and definitely not something youād throw on for a casual day out. But for evenings, events, or times when you want to lean into a bold, mysterious mood, this fits the bill perfectly. It is wearable, but I am just not sure where and when. Perhaps a date? It is definitely not something I would wear to the office as I think it is just too overwhelming and heavy for that. Overall TLDR: Mashrabya is a dark, spicy, and sweet fragrance with a resinous richness and strong oud presence. Itās daring and powerful, with impressive longevity and projection. Definitely not a crowd-pleaser in the traditional sense, but if youāre into bold Middle Eastern-style scents and want something with depth and attitude, Mashrabya delivers. This is not something I would recommend blind buying. It is not personally for me, and I have given it away, as I am not a fan of the apple shisha note that is extremely dominate through the entire top, mid and bottom of this cologne. If you blind buy, it is a 50/50 shot you will like it unless you have smelled anything similar to this previously.
