The Bible quality is worth every penny you will pay. I bought the large print because I use reading glasses. I have only one complaint, and that is the font/typeface. The following is strictly personal and unique to me, and keep in mind I am most comfortable reading the dyslexic type face, but haven’t found a Bible using it. I don’t like the typeface. It is bold compared to other fonts and I find it harder to read on a bright white page than a smaller, thinner font such as “Hanson” or “Gil Sans”. There is almost too much contrast for me between the heavy font and bright white page. I have the same problem with the extra large and giant prints in this font. So, I believe this Bible will be perfect for you unless you have other reading problems. Review: The translation is excellent, and the quality of this Bible is superb and the price is good - First, the Bible is beautiful--goatskin red cover and black goatskin lining. These are stitched together, and the lining has a gold filigree edging. It has 5 raised spine ribs which keep the shape of the spine. There is gold gilding on the page edges. The paper is good quality with minimal ghosting (the text on the back side of the paper showing through.) The paper is thick enough that it is easy to turn pages. The pages are smyth sewn to add to the durability of the Bible. It has three double sided satin ribbons. The price is excellent for a Bible of such premium quality. The typeset is also excellent and easy to read. Chapter numbers, section headings, page headings, and verse reference numbers in the cross reference are in red, adding to the elegance and making for easier navigating. The cross references and textual notes are extensive. And unlike many other version's cross references, they actually lead to passages that are genuinely related. These references and notes give the chapter and verse number before the references, which is exceedingly helpful. Also, for each verse, the letter indication starts over with the first being a, then b, then c. For other versions, the cross references start with a, b, c at the beginning of the chapter and go to xyz and then aa, ab, ac etc. I find the latter is more invasive for reading because of the extra letters. The textual notes are also extensive which I find helpful. Regarding the translation--it is an excellent update of the venerable and beautiful KJV language with updated wording. And the publishers have foregone the continual updating that other modern translations have practiced, mostly unnecessary and annoying in my view. The NKJV is an excellent and faithful translation, as are many of our recent English translations. I personally find my CSB easier to read and understand, but have great appreciation and respect for the NKJV. One feature of the NKJV that I do not like is that it italicizes words that are supplied for clarity but not in the original Greek. In most contexts, when reading in English, italics means emphasis on those words. Also, if the translation requires the supplied words, the italics seem to bring into question as to whether these are really valid, but they are. I highly recommend this edition of the NKJV. This typeset does not have the words of Jesus in red--which is by far my preference. All scripture is equally inspired. It is two column, which for me makes it easier to read rather than having single column with long lines which makes it easier for me to navigate to the next line. It is also set in paragraphs rather than each verse starting over again. For me this makes it easier to put the passages in context.

Best Goatskin bible
I have many premium bibles but this is my GO - TO bible. Its price point allows me to highlight w.o hesitation. I love the size. I love the leather the color everything about it. I would buy any version that Nelson produces. I have also bought this bible a second time as a gift for a student of mine

Not large print
This Bible is one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. It is beautiful leather, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, it was not large print to me and I had to return it.

Best NKJV under $200
So this Bible actually has me questioning some of my other purchases. I have a Humble Lamb Lion, an LSB full yapp cowhide handy size Bible, a Crossway ESV Gloria Dei and a Cambridge Turquoise full yapp Bible. All very premium bibles well over the $200 price point. And then I bought this. Now I feel like I overpaid for all those other Bibles. I got this for $102 and it's nearly perfect. It has a soft, pebbly goatskin cover, generous yapp, art gilt pages, perimeter stitching, 36 gsm paper, an amazing font and text block and it's just such an overall great Bible. Now the others are definitely nicer, with pleated corner work and better work on the edge-lined tabs and full leather liners. But for just over a hundred bucks this feels like a steal. It's not that far off the much more premium options. And the paper is superior to some of the others I've mentioned. I love the NKJV and this is easily the best ones I've had. I'd definitely recommend this one. If you don't want to spend even this much, pick up the NKJV Maclaren series thinline, it's got the same text block and paper with a paste down liner and words of Christ in blue, for around $30.

Great Bible All Around
By far an amazing Bible, I highly recommend it. Once it’s been broken in a little bit it’s really flexible and smooth to maneuver. The only thing I didn’t know when buying this product was the the words of Christ aren’t in Red, it’s not a total deal breaker for me though because I still love it and can figure out when Christ is speaking by context. It’s absolutely worth the low price for a premium product.

Beautiful bible but not definitely not brand new when delivered
The bible was what i expected from a Premier Collection bible from either Thomas Nelson or Zondervan. The leather cover was soft and floppy and to text block was of a high standard. But this bible was clearly opened before. Inside the box, the Premier Collection sticker was already completely torn open. A big telltale sign was that one of the bookmarks was already pulled out of its original position. The quality guarantee card was also not placed in the usual position. Quite disappointing too that there was a big sticker on the box cover for a collector Premier Collection Bible.

Great Quality Bible
Customs inspection spoiled the unboxing for me but overall great quality Bible. It’s comparable to other Premier Collection. My aging eyes will thank me later for the large 10pt text size.
