I have advanced hallux rigidus in left big toe. Unfortunately this did not help. Might be better suited for somebody with mild to moderate conditions. Just caused me more pain. Returned no problem.

I tried using these with inserts from my podiatrist but they made my shoes feel really tight. I had bunion surgery a few months back so it was very uncomfortable. I will try these with a pair of sneakers using the insoles they came with and see if it makes a difference.

They work great just don't leave a lot of room in my shoe. So you might need to go a size bigger on a shoe so they don't feel so tight

This is no one size fits all. I've tried 7 different types of shoes and all of them will not accommodate this product. I will return if I cannot find a shoe that it will fit. So... most of the reason why the product will not fit is due to shoe manufacturers creating a shoe that bends in design to the arch. I have found if you have flat feet and have a non-pronounced arch flair... this might work for you. I was able to get the product in a shoe I never wear which is a Van's product... I assume this would work well in a Converse high top as well. As for other shoes that do not conform to Flintstone feet... you might be out of luck. LOVE the concept!!!! Thought it would eliminate my need for the orthopedic boot.

The difference these plates make is remarkable. I have had multiple broken & repaired bones in my feet and these simple hard carbon inserts make walking much more comfortable. I’ve bought several pair so that I don’t need to change them as often. A great buy and a great help!
