Great for beginners

Just brilliant.
I have many Jillian Michaels DVD's and this is my absolute favourite. A well put together, well explained, weight lifting workout. It is so enjoyable that I am always suprised when it finishes. I do this on the days that I am not running, and it gets results. Highly recommended.

Great workout - Weights are in lbs
Great DVD for kickstarting getting fit once again, leaves you sweating and pumped. There are also stretches and warm ups before and after you get to the meat of the work out. One thing to note is that the weights they are using are in lbs, not kg, something to bear in mind. i.e 8lbs being rougly 3.6 kg. Overall, amazing presenter and session for beginners and intermediates. Well worth the money.

Willian never disappoints....unlike manufacturers of this DVD
Great exercise by Jillian, who never disappoints. 4 stars because the audio is in German and I always have to switch audio manually back to English version, which is really annoying because for introductory video it doesnt work at all and for the workouts it works but only with one button on my DVD remote. Not sure how I would do it otherwise and it is not very good to buy such products from the Amazon UK but receive a DVD in German language.

Love It
I'm a fan of JM and have a few of her dvds. This one is pure weights and whilst it is hard work the pace is slow and it is over quickly. I would recommend this to anyone. JM is not as shouty or mean in this one, and I'm not sure if that is good or bad. If you want a short weight session this dvd will do the job.

Another fantastic workout DVD from Jillian
I may be Jillian's biggest fan so I am slightly biased but I happen to love this DVD, there is not a great deal of cardio but with the weight lifting you get your cardio going anyway and work up a sweat. I started with workout 2 as I have been working out with Jillian for a while but this is another awesome workout to go with my collection of her workouts that I have which is about every single one I think.

"Fancy pants"..... To much annoying chatter!
Not that good in comparison to some of her other DVDs. The workouts are ok but not particularly exciting or advanced and not very difficult. I don't think it's one of her best and I was also really put off by the way Jillian talks down to the guy on set calling him 'fancy pants' and continually going back to the fact she's not happy about the weights he put out for the class, she can't let it go but as it's her name on the DVD she should have checked before they started filming rather than keep making a big deal out of it in the final cut, she also hits on the female, overall I found it a bit unprofessional and annoying for a fitness dvd, I would prefer the workout to have uplifting and informative info and less of her annoying chatter. Overall it's just ok and maybe good for beginners but it's definitely not one of her best. Didn't break a sweat and didn't feel like I'd had a tough workout afterwards. Try 'Kettlebell Bootcamp' by Angie Miller or 'Strong body, fit body' by Erin O'Brien for much better weights workouts that work you hard.

SImple and effective
I have had a few of JM's DVDs in the past. This one is sensational - feels good to do, simple and clear, and you feel you're getting a sweat on each time. I do it alternate days to running and I feel much more toned and slimmer each time I do it. I'm still on Level One, upping my weights to make it harder, will move to Level Two after. I work at keeping my abs held in, but there's not much ab specific stuff, so I do a ten minute blast from JM's Body Transformation 1 and 2 if I have time to add a bit more ab work.

Super für Krafttraining zu Hause
Aus meiner nicht die beste DVD von Jilian Michaels. Hier geht es um Training mit Gewichten. Man benötigt kurzhanteln, 2 kg, 3 kg, 5 kg dazu. Training macht Spaß, würde mir mehr davon wünschen. Es sind 2 Trainingslevels auf der CD, ca. je eine halbe Stunde, aber anstrengend ist es schon. Gefällt mir gut.

Very good workout
This is a great workout, easy to follow, lifting weights at a slower pace than other Jillian’s workouts. I alternate this workout with other more intense workouts like 30 day shred, No more trouble zones and Banish fat.

Super für Anfänger!
Perfektes workout für Krafttraining Anfänger. Man sollte je nach Statur und Kraft 3 verschiedene Gewichte haben, wobei man von jeden 2 Stück braucht. Also bspw zwei Mal 2kg Hanteln, zwei Mal 4 kg Hanteln und zwei Mal 6 kg Hanteln (oder eben 2.5, 5 und 7) und dann trainiert man mit diesen in verschiedenen Sets. Es ist Recht einfach gemacht und spürt schnell einen Unterschied. Ich würde auf jeden Fall Handschuhe empfehlen, da es für Anfänger doch auch etwas schwierig sein kann und man schnell leichte Rötungen an den Händen bekommt und das halten der Gewichte mit den Handschuhen leichter fällt.
