Great design
Works great! Has several options for scheduled feeding times and portions. Also like the weatherproof covers for the timer and food dispenser.

Doesn't work straight out of the box
Doesn't work. The area that is supposed to hold the clips to manage quantity of food dispensed is deformed and the clips can't be installed. The agitater to move the food doesn't move and the feeder door doesn't open. The instructions are THE WORST and make no sense. Instead of telling you the steps to set the time, it simply says "tell the feeder the time it is now". Biggest waste of money. I read all the reviews and everyone else had a positive experience. I received a useless piece of crap. Will be returning.

Great for small pond
This item is perfect for my small pond and because of how it's made it prevents small animals from getting the feed or breaking it apart.

Needs to be firmly attached to a base.
After using for 5 weeks, I can say this feeder works as promised. The amount of the minimum feed is OK for my 8 medium to large goldfish. The other 2 brands I tried had much larger minimum amounts. The set up instructions were poorly written, but after several tries got it feeding twice a day on the minimum amount. I did build a shelter to protect it from the elements and to prevent marauding racoons or other critters. (The shelter is bolted to a post set in cement and can be removed when I don't need it.)

Feeder while away.
Perfect feeder for your fish. Or maybe some animals you want fed.

Great fish feeder for small pond feeding
This feeder is perfect for my small pond with 6 Koi. Being able to adjust the amount of feed is important and that is what this feeder allows.

not user friendly
this was a horrible product for me, I just wanted a simple Koi fish feeder for when I was out of town, and I thought I could very easily and quickly set this up. The directions were not clear to follow and then I realized I was missing the spacers to actually set the schedule. I ended up having to ship the whole thing back. I eventually ordered another one, and it confirmed what I thought about this one, it just wasnโt user-friendly.

Good feeder!
Great feeder! Feeds once or twice a day like it should. Huge food chamber. Easy to install and set up. Instructions are hard to understand. Havenโt had any problems with it. Very versatile, can feed a little amount or a huge amount of food.

Awesome device, well made
At last! I looked for this for a long time and all specialized stores said it did't exist (seriously). I have 2 large Coy in a 150 gallons fish tank and needed a feeding system for vacation time. I approximate food consumption to about 10mg/day. I tried cheap tumbling feeders for a long time and they always jam with food sticks, they run out quickly and my 2 Coy even managed to kick them down the fish tank. But this feeder is so much better, mechanism is well made, material surprisingly good too. Food reservoir is huge! lol I love this.

Hard to program
Worked out really good just a little hard to program, didnโt find instructions great. Very similar to cat feeder I had which was way easier to program.

A Great Automated Fish Feeder
I picked this up for an outdoor pond with about 50 fish, and so far it has worked great. **FIRST IMPRESSION:** The first thing I will mention is that this is much bigger than I expected. It's roughly the size of a big toaster, so this isn't going to work well for a smaller indoor aquarium or anything. Besides that, it's pretty much all plastic construction and seems well made and designed. **ASSEMBLY:** Not much to put together, and it didn't take long to have it up and running. My biggest issue was the little blocks that are used to help regulate the amount of food it dispenses. The only way to be sure if it's correct is to test it. This means you need to dump in enough food for it to dispense correctly. This also means if you have it wrong, you need to dump it all out and add or remove blocks. Not the most effective way to do this. **INSTALLATION:** This really depends on your location, but I ended up putting this one on a platform over the pond that I could then screw the base to. Fairly straightforward. I will say the brackets for hard mounting it are a must if you want to use this outdoors. **PROGRAMMING:** Programming is a bit tedious as you need to cycle through everything to get the numbers you want. Make a mistake, and you need to repeat it. But hopefully, you only really need to do this once, so no issue here. **PERFORMANCE:** Once everything was set up and it was running, it performed exactly as it was supposed to. **DURABILITY:** So mine is outside, and so far, it's held up nicely. Using the install mounts and screwing it down is a must for multiple reasons, and I can vouch for it being animal resistant. More than once, I have come out to small raccoon foot prints all over it with them trying to get the food inside. So far, it has kept them at bay. **CONCLUSION:** This is a great way to automate feeding your fish in your pond. It takes away the worry of not being home and creates a regulated standard feeding schedule. It's performed well, and as of now, I have no issues with it.I picked this up for an outdoor pond with about 50 fish and so far it has worked great. Not For Indoor Aquariums...
Quick Review: First and foremost, this is extremely large and not suited for indoor aquariums. Unless of course you have a 500G plus tank kicking around, lol. It is however perfect for an outdoor Koi pond. Simple to operate thanks to the programmable LCD dispay. Large capacity and can dispense pellets up to 12mm. The door retracts to keep moisture and bugs out, which I appreciate. No complaints here.
