BUY IT!
LOVE! This nano water pitcher and filter is so legit! This pitcher design is 1000x better than the last one. It feels premium, isnโt so loud as the prior one, has more durability and smoother feel, pour, etc. The filter is much faster too! I have been using Epic Nano because it pulls even the tiniest 0.01-0.03 microns out of the water. Itโs basically everything except the natural minerals which is good for you. I was a little mad I had to upgrade the water pitcher, BUT, the old one was definitely ready to be replaced and lasted years. This pitcher design is even better and I can tell it will last even longer than the previous model. This entire brand is made in USA! That is another reason I chose to try it and now that I have (over a span of years) I will NEVER leave. It may cost more than the other brands, but with Epic Nano being made in the USA, you can trust that it is quality AND meets the strict quality and health standards in America. I donโt care how cheap a competitor in another country can make it, I will only buy this brand. I was not asked to do this review, I am just legit SATISFIED!

Clean Water
By far the best tasting water filter pitcher out there, it filters out the junk the others donโt. The drawback is the price of replacement filters. Itโs just me and the boss, the filter is lasting a long time. I fill the pitcher with the filtered water from refrigerator, maybe thatโs why itโs lasting so long, either way, I will continue to use it. NOTE : Soak the new filter in water for 24 hours, run water through the filter 4 times before drinking

Stellar customer service!!
I received this water pitcher and noticed that the lid was slightly loose and the colored part of the handle kept falling off. It didnโt appear broken, but it just was a loose fit and I had to hold the lid on when I would pour the water. I sent an email to the company asking if this was usual or was I doing something wrong? They replied by sending me a brand new pitcher. The new picture has a handle that doesnโt separate and the lid does fit more snuggly. I think the first picture I got was simply an anomaly. Itโs a great water pitcher and filter system and Iโm happy to give it five stars! The filter lasts for 90 days and is worth the price. Water tastes great!!!

Great Pitcher
We bought the Epic water pitcher to deal with a trace amount of PFOA found in our town's water. There are only a handful of filter pitchers that are certified for NSF P473, one of them being the Epic. We narrowed our choices to the Epic and the ZeroWater. In the end, we went with teh epic for three reasons. 1. Overall higher ratings in most reliable ratings venues. 2. Longer lasting filter (approx. 150 gallons). . 3. Flexibility with filters. There are two types of epic filters, Pure and Nano. Simply put, if you use tap/city water, you probably want the Pure filter. If you have well water, even if it is treated town wells, as in our case, or if you have hard water, you want the Nano filter. Both filters fit in teh same pitcher, so if you later decide you want the other filter, you can just buy the Pure or Nano. Although I prefer the look of the clear blue tinted pitcher, we bought the black 9slightly smoked plastic) as it had a $5 Amazon coupon. What's in the box: -The Epic water pitcher -Nano (or Pure) filter -User Guide Set up is simple: 1. Unpack the box. 2. Remove the lid and reservoir from teh pitcher 3. Unscrew the filter from the bottom of teh reservoir. 4. Check that the large silicone washer at the top of the filter is in place. 5. Screw filter back onto reservoir; put reservoir back in pitcher and put lid on. 6. Raise lid opening by handle with your thumb and fill reservoir. 7. Allow pitcher to filter water. Dump this water or use it on plants. DO NOT drink it. 8. Repeat Steps 6 & 7. It will take probably 30 minutes or more each time for the first two filtrations. 9. Fill reservoir a 3rd time. Filtration should go a little faster. This is your first drinkable pitcher of water! 10. Remove clear plastic from LED on lid. Hold down 'Start' button until LED comes on (about 3 seconds). NOTES: -The LED on the lid will start at 90 and count down 1 every 24 hours. This is the projected life of the filter. If you are one person, you may find it lasts longer, so always factor in taste. If the water starts to taste off or "lemony", a filter is usually in need of a change. - The pitcher is sold as 10 cup. Overall, between the pitcher area and reservoir, it is advertised at about 15 cups. If you count just the lower part of the pitcher, it is 7.75 cups before you would breech the top of the filter, and the reservoir holds not quite 6 cups filled to the brim. so keep in mind when you fill the reservoir for filtering, you are making less than 5-6 cups. - DO NOT fill the reservoir when you have a pitcher full of water. Some people think this saves time, but the result is, when you pour water, one of two things happens: either some of the unfiltered reservoir water blends into your filtered water, or the pressure of the reservoir water forces the lid off the pitcher and you have a big mess. The Epic does make for a nice tasting glass of water. it does not attempt to completely remove minerals, which is a good thing as some are healthy for you, so if you are looking for something devoid of all flavor, you may want something else.

Tastes great, but SLOW to filter and SPILLS a lot (top doesn't stay on well)
Updated: customer service was great via email โ quick replacement and no issues with the updated one so far! โโ We drink a lot of water. We love that this filter tastes great and has a large capacity. That said, there are two things you need to know: 1) The filtration takes a long time -- we've been using it for about 25 days and it's already 30% slower than when the filter was new (our area has decent water quality -- nothing complicated). Because of that, when someone fills the pitcher, for the next 30 minutes, the top will remain full of water. 2) Because of (1), when the next person goes to pour a glass, there is a good chance it will spill EVERYWHERE when the top comes off. Even holding the top on, we're about 10% chance for flooding the countertops right now. It's a solid filter and the water tastes great, but my wife is ready to get rid of it because the of (2). Be warned :-)

HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH MINE
The Epic water filter offers a robust solution for those seeking cleaner, better-tasting water without the hassle of bottled alternatives. This gravity-fed filtration system boasts impressive contaminant removal, tackling a wide range of impurities including heavy metals, chlorine, and microplastics. Key strengths include: Effective filtration: Removes up to 99.99% of tap water contaminants Long-lasting filters: Each cartridge processes up to 150 gallons Portable design: Ideal for both home use and outdoor adventures BPA-free construction: Ensures no additional chemicals leach into your water On the downside, the initial cost is higher than basic pitcher filters, and the flow rate can be slow when the reservoir is nearly empty. Some users may find the unit bulky for smaller kitchens or refrigerators. Overall, the Epic water filter delivers on its promise of clean, great-tasting water. It's a solid choice for health-conscious consumers willing to invest in higher-quality water filtration.

Sometimes You Don't Get What You Pay For!!
I was very hopeful about this filtration pitcher when I ordered it, however, after using it a couple of weeks, my hopes were crushed. It's on it's way back now to Amazon. First, I was extremely dismayed at the flimsy rigid plastic the components are made of, especially considering the nearly $65 price tag. It was stressful using the pitcher because it was obvious it could crack and break if I dropped or banged it in any way (why bother with plastic, then, Epic??!!!). The design is also very poor, as the filtered water chamber barely holds half the 8 cups advertised (the other 4 cups advertised evidently consisting of unfiltered water in a full upper chamber); then, when you try to pour your pitiful few ounces of filtered water into your glass, the spout is positioned in such a way that both the filtered water, from the bottom portion of the pitcher, and any unfiltered water in the upper chamber end up in your glass together!! To make sure only filtered water ended up in my glass, I had to remove the lid and upper chamber entirely before pouring, with the filter drizzling water all over the place! Ridiculous!! Finally, the greatest disappointment is that the filter itself does not perform well in my opinion. The water tasted crappy to me but, worst of all, every day I would find a thin film of some kind of residue floating on the surface of any tea I made with water from this pitcher. Gross!! This did not happen when I experimented by comparing tea made with bottled water with that made using the Epic water. So, I'm over it and returning this device. Very seldom do I find a need to write a review on Amazon, but felt I would be extremely negligent if I failed to alert consumers to the problems I experienced.

Hard to find a filter that removes bacteria and viruses...
I love what I read about this pitcher, and did a TON of research before buying it. This definitely seem to be one of the best pitchers out there. The pitcher itself is good quality, it's also very easy to put together and use. There is no problem with the pitcher, it pours perfectly well and seems sturdy. However, after maybe 2 weeks, there's an aftertaste to the water. I'm wondering if it's because the filter is sitting in the water? It never tasted as good as bottled water, but the description sounds excellent, and claims to remove a huge amount of toxins, which is what Iโm looking for. This is also the only system I found that removes bacteria and viruses. The company seems credible and has a great reputation for purifying water. I bought this same pitcher in Calif. last year and it was fine, but maybe due to the difference in water in NY, where I'm now using this, the after taste is bothering me. I'm not refrigerating the pitcher, but also did not refrigerate my pitcher in Calif. and it was fine. I also remember I've used the Pur filter in NY previously and it has a similar aftertaste. I may be sending this back because I just couldn't drink the water tonight due to the โoffโ taste, and got a bottle of water instead. Iโll have to send this one back and ordered the pitcher from Japan that removes toxins and users write that it produces good tasting water. Reviews get a A on fake spot dot com so feedback is authentic. Fingers crossed.

A good product
A product a bit expensive but of high quality. The filter lasts longer than most equivalents on the market and keeps the minerals, unlike other products of the same price range. Recommended.

Best Water Filter
I have tried many water filters and this one is the best. The water tastes so good. Yes, it's a slow dripper and can take a few hours to get a full jug, but it's with it. I drink about 3 pitchers a day. It makes your coffee also taste great too. One filter lasts about 3-4 months depending on how often you use it. The meter will tell you when. I bought a second one for my wife and additional filters direct from the manufacturer.

You Cannot find filters
There are No filters available for this system. Amazon customer service attempted to locate one and I purchased it, and it did not fit. I would NOT recommend buying this product.

Very pleased
I always drink tap water but as I have thyroid problems I need to filter out the fluoride. Although there are much cheaper options on the market, this one was the only jug to filter out fluoride along with a huge range of other contaminated whilst still allowing the beneficial ones to remain, which was important to me. I did have a query which I took up with customer service and they responded very speedily and put things right efficiently. I was pleased with the taste of the water after filtering and now use this jug every day. Well worth the extra cost and I would definitely recommend

Most Effective Water Filter Out There
The taste between the unfiltered water compared to this filters water is unmatched by anything I've ever used. Contaminants like chlorine, flouride, and lead are extremely toxic to the body and I highly encourage you to purchase this filter if you want to guarantee the removal of those toxins from your water. Cheers to good health
