La Wuben X4 me ha sorprendido: muy resistente y compacta, con cuerpo de aluminio y buena protección contra agua y polvo. La luz frontal es potente (1500 lúmenes) y alcanza lejos, mientras que la lateral y el modo RGB son útiles para cercanía o señalización. La batería dura mucho en modo bajo y se carga rápido por USB‑C. Solo el modo turbo dura poco y el clip puede ser algo incómodo, pero en general es una linterna muy versátil y confiable para patrullas, emergencias o uso diario.

Ich hatte schon einige EDC-Taschenlampen in der Hand, aber die Wuben X4 sticht wirklich heraus. Nicht, weil sie nur hell ist (das ist sie – 1500 Lumen sind kein Marketing-Bluff), sondern weil sie clever durchdacht ist. Das Bedienkonzept mit Schiebeschalter und Drehrad ist genial – kein hektisches Durchklicken mehr, sondern alles da, wo man’s intuitiv erwartet. Der Drehregler läuft butterweich und erlaubt stufenloses Dimmen – vom gemütlichen Leselicht bis zum Tageslicht-Ersatz. Der hintere Knopf für Turbo oder Strobe ist das Sahnehäubchen. Was ich richtig feiere: das seitliche Warmlicht. Perfekt, wenn man nachts im Zelt liest oder im Auto etwas sucht, ohne alle zu blenden. Und das RGB-Licht ist mehr als nur Spielerei – super als Markierung oder für Fotos. Die Verarbeitung ist, wie man es von Wuben kennt, erstklassig: massives Aluminiumgehäuse, sauber gefräst, nichts klappert. Der Magnetfuß ist stark genug, um die Lampe an der Motorhaube oder am Regal zu halten, und der Clip hält sie sicher am Gürtel. Der Akku (18650 / 3350 mAh) hält ewig, lädt schnell über USB-C und kann bei Bedarf einfach gewechselt werden – genau so muss das sein. Kritikpunkte? Eigentlich nur einer: Der Modusschieber ist etwas leichtgängig, aber nach zwei Tagen hat man den Dreh raus. Ansonsten könnte man noch kritisieren, dass sie ZU VIEL KANN. Die Möglichkeiten können am Anfang etwas überfordern... Fazit: Eine Lampe, die alles kann – starkes Hauptlicht, warmes Seitenlicht, RGB-Spielerei, geniale Bedienung, solide Bauweise. Wer eine einzige Taschenlampe sucht, die wirklich alles abdeckt, landet hier bei der Wuben X4 genau richtig.

I saw this advertised on YouTube a while back and just missed being able to support it on kickstarter. I’m a sucker for EDC stuff and this tickers every singe box for a torch, it’s really versatile and easy to use. It’s super bright, the weight, size and build quality is great! The torch overall seems really durable but not put it to the full test. It has a removable 18650 battery which is handy because it means you can swap it out for a spare one lying around if you don’t have any way to charge it. The tactical switch on the base is great for quickly activating full brightness. The fact it has RGB too means at night I can use the red LED to see without disturbing anyone or anything when out and about. It’s also got a magnetic base so it can attach to anything in order to provide hands free lighting. If you’re on the fence about purchasing this, just hit the buy button, you won’t regret it.
