Safe, Effective & Easy To Use! - The label says Black Algaecide and that's fair but it is actually a 60% poly product which is an algaecide that prevents more than kills most algae. It's the only algae product I'll use. No copper staining or foaming. The price of Poly60% has been inching up for quite a while so when I saw this one for half the price of other 60%ers I grabbed it & growled!. Because of the price on Prime Days it was a great value...otherwise it's just a good product at a rather hefty price. Been doing our pool for more than 50ys. YIKES! Review: works good use FULL dose on initial application - Black Algae on pool walls is very stubborn this pool Mate Black Algecide works BUT BUT BUT you need to do everything such as clean filter, adjust pool chemistry and scrub algae I purchase two quarts for my 11000 gallon pool because the first FULL quart application put a dent in it but didn't completely rid it...which is a common scenario with black algae ## Features - Controls the growth of black algae in swimming pools - Concentrated formula for all pool types - Weekly maintenance dose: 4 ounces per 10,000 gallons - Non-foaming - Non-metallic algaecide - For All Pool Types (Vinyl, Fiberglass, Concrete, Gunite, etc.) - Prevents and kills algae ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CWVSJVHM | | Best Sellers Rank | #6,990 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #20 in Swimming Pool Algaecides | | Brand | Pool Mate | | Brand Name | Pool Mate | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 155 Reviews | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Type Name | for Pools | | Item Weight | 2 pounds | | Manufacturer | Pool Mate | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1-2190A | | Model Number | 1-2190A | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Size Name | 1-Quart | | Product Benefits | Prevents Algae Growth | | UPC | 034261188283 | | Unit Count | 32 Fluid Ounces | ## Images ![Pool Mate 1-Quart Premium Black Algaecide for Pool, Made in USA - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71T2flZmcuL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's 60% Poly!
