Simply follow the firmware upgrade video guide above to restore normal functionality. After upgrading, pls re-pair the adapter as follows Remove the device signal from phone's Wi-Fi setting. Unplug the adapter from the USB port. Reconnect the adapter to your car’s USB data port. 4. Turn on BT & Wi-Fi on phone. 5. Pair with device in phone’s BT. (Only pair BT, no need to manually connect Wi-Fi） Review: Tiny Quick & reliable - I can highly recommend this wireless adapter. I researched it first on CarplayLife and other independent review sites and it was recommended for its speed, function and tiny size. Not only is wireless Carplay/AA connection just very convenient. But for me it also overcomes a loose usb port disconnection issue we had in my wife's Suzuki. And it allows me to fast charge my phone by usb charger in my Kia whilst still using Android Auto wirelessly. It is a doddle to set up and works far better than my previous Ottocast at 1/4 of the price. We have now bought three of these for 2x AndoidAuto users and 1xAppleCarplay user. But we can all use our phones in all three cars as it is dual system. For any who might read a few negative reviews about stopping working. MSXTTLY are a good company with fast support and even video tutorials for troubleshooting. Mine stopped working once after a head unit software update. MSXTTLY emailed me step by step device firmware upgrade instructions and the problem was solved straight away. Good tech support is worth a lot with kit like this. Hence my old Ottocast now going on eBay. I should also mention that you get a choice of cables bundled with it to help with mounting options or to use with either a USB-A or USB-C port which is a nice touch and will make it easy to transfer to other cars if needed. Review: It works brilliantly - Android auto was via cable only in my Honda ZR-V so I bought this adapter. It works brilliantly! I usually have it connected to my Samsung S24 ultra but have also had it working with a Samsung flip 5. You can only have one device saved at a time (so a bit faffy if you want to swap phones) but other than that it is great. There is no sync delay when using maps or Spotify. Recommended. ## Features - 🚗【Wireless Carplay & Android Auto Adapter】You can enjoy the freedom of wireless Android Auto & Carplay while driving, as long as your car is equipped with wired Android Auto/Carplay. It worked perfectly on the first day, but by the second day, it completely stopped working. I tried reconnecting it, but nothing fixed the issue. Now I’ve had to resort back to using my regular USB cable, which defeats the whole purpose of buying this in the first place. Disappointed with the product’s reliability, especially since I was relying on it for such an important week. I wouldn’t recommend it. ## Frequently Bought Together - MSXTTLY Wireless CarPlay Adapter UK Android Auto Adpater 2 IN 1, Convert Wired AA/Carplay to Wireless, for Android 11+/iOS 10+ Phones, USB C/A, Plug & Play, SMT-AC01 - INIU Car Charger, Cigarette Lighter USB Charger Total 60W [USB C 30W+USB A 30W] 12V USB Socket, PD3.0 Fast Charge Car Phone Charger Metal Adapter for iPhone 16 15 14 13 12 Pro Max iPad Samsung Google - Auckly Qi 15W Car Phone Holder Wireless Charger, [270 ° Automatic Clamping], Wireless Car Charger Mount, Air Vent, for iPhone 11 12 13 14 15 16 Series & Samsung, Electromagnetic Induction, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/682036369-msxttly-wireless-carplay-adapter-uk-android-auto-adpater-2-in](https://www.desertcart.is/products/682036369-msxttly-wireless-carplay-adapter-uk-android-auto-adpater-2-in) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
