Easy to install and good product

I bought this dash cam based on some of the reviews. First the memory card required could not synch initially. Then the menu that guided you through the installation process froze a few time so I had to start over again. When I finally completed the installation process the camera is ok but not what I expected. Not worth the $100+ what I paid.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: size, picture quality, Wifi Wifi connectivity: So after reviews I decided to purchase the 2X. Installation was OK , not that simple. I need to perform connectivity with WiFi like 5 times using the app. It wasnt the WiFi signal the signal was fine. But once in the camera does do as advertised. What I didnt realize , i thought once I get to work I could go to the App and see the video from my drive. NOPE! You cant. You need to be near the car with WiFi to view them on App and than download what you want. Honestly I thought like my Ring Camera at home once, I can go to the app and see video even though Im not near camera. So you basically will have to be near car when you want to see video or take micro drive out and put on computer like I have done with older car cameras. Video is clear, having the functions and settings on phone is easier than old cameras which was on the actual camera.

Package was previously opened. When I went to install, I noticed that the microsd card was missing. Unfortunately it was the night before an off-road trip, so I had to purchase one from Wal Mart.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price: I guess you get what you pay for. Camera quality: Unknown because the app won't connect. Tried calling the number given on the app and they said it wasn't in service.

DO NOT BUY!! Tech from a company that is as well known as Nextbase is for their dash cams should make you want to upgrade to their next tier up for your next purchase. The Piqo 2K is definitely not that kind of device. Even though Nextbase states that their newest firmware update allows for 3rd party cards, I would beg to contend that statement with my experience with the Piqo. Not only does it NOT recognize my Sandisk 256Gb card most of the time, the connection issues with the device have convinced me to fully remove the piece of junk from my car and look into buying something that is NOT FROM NEXTBASE.

Easy to set up decent quality and functional but for some reason every now and again it flattens the battery on the car.Battery is brand new so it’s something wrong with the camera not closing down when car is not in use.

A decent little camera until you try & set it up or download any footage from it. It struggles to connect to your phone via wifi, I tried countless times to upload the latest software before eventually plugging the camera directly into a mains usb power source & disabling all other wifi & bluetooth connections to get it to work. Since installing it in the car, I have tried to get it to connect to the phone again and again but the wifi connection just keeps dropping out so the only option is to take the SD card out & transfer files manually. Definitely would not recommend this, even at a reduced price.
