I purchased this as a house-warming gift for my adult daughter who had just purchased her first home. In the first 2 weeks, she has used them many times already, and has commented to me that this was one of the most useful house-warming gifts she could have received. Now, she has a tool for almost every situation at home.

The quality is not the best but it is perfectly fine for the price. I is up to expectation.

You do get a lot of tools, if you have none than this is a decent starter kit. I got this for my sister when she had to leave all of her tools behind when leaving a bad marriage. She likes me and is constantly building or creating something. This set comes with a very broad selection so it's good coverage on the basics. I do mean basic, some of these tools ( pliers and channel locks and level for example) are lower quality than harbor freights cheapest . Other things like the ratchet set aren't half bad. So there is a trade off but ultimately it's all functional even if some of the items can be aggravating. The case itself is great for storage keeping everything together in a nrea and orderly way. It's kind of a pain though as there's really no good way of opening it without something inevitably wanting to fall out. The best way i found was to lay it down and open it. There are tabs on the inside to prevent spillage which is basically just a piece of metal with a pop rivet in it to swivel on. It really depends on your needs. For her it's ideal, she has a hard time getting around, so the wheels and extendable handle are great because it's easy for her to move around. For her, again, the selection is good because she is starting over and I'm trying to be a good brother without breaking the bank. This set fits that niche perfectly and for the money is a really good broad spectrum, easy enough to use, store away and portable option.
