But in a good way! They said it would be at least about 7 days before it arrived, it arrived within 3. I had ordered a discounted CS5 with a damaged box but instead got a pristine boxed CS5 Extended edition (they upgraded me free of charge). The software installed and authenticated itself as expected and ran fine.I did have issues with trying to read the DVD on my laptop (desktop worked fine), but I suspect that it doesn't have a very good DVD reader. It's not the first time that this has happened with a commercial DVD.I highly recommend this reseller :-).Also as a side issue. PhotoShop states as a minimum requirement that it must have a graphics card with 256 MB of RAM on it. I only have 128MB. A number of people online were asking about how much this mattered. All that happens is that certain hardware acceleration features are disabled, causing it to fall back on software or disable some cosmetic application effects. If you want to touch up your pictures then don't worry it works fine as far as I can tell.

Despite me having bought this in May 2012 and used it wonderfully, i had suddenly ran into problems in December 2013. I suddenly had to type in my serial number again, but this time said it was invalid and i got put into a 30 day trial mode. Since the trial ended i have not been able to use it. I had contacted Adobe about it and they were baffled if this was a legit piece of software, so they told me to contact the seller i got it from. So i did, and i am still waiting a week later to hear from them. Not happy at all, wanting to get my money back. I shouldn't have to be going through this, especially when its something as costly as this.Giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because of how useful the product was when i was able to use it.Despite how good the product was, all i can say to anyone who reads this is: I wish i had never got it from here now!!!

Purchased direct from Amazon after being taken for a ride by a 3rd party Amazon supplier who was "selling" CS4.thanks to Amazon refunded.So bought CS5 and did not take any chances.Delivery was prompt.Enjoying using it and learning, which will take some time; have bought the book by Scott Kelby to help and that has been brilliant.cannot fault CS5 in anyway, except the price, but dont think i will be looking at any plug-ins for some of my finer work now that i have this, so that is a saving.seperating hair and feathers from background is brilliant, lens correction, the new cloning tool..to mention just a few outstanding features.a programme that you would never regret buying.

This is not the latest but perhaps the best version of Photoshop and comes as a disk. However beware: should you receive a version with wrong serial number you are are entering hell on earth. Neither Amazon or Adobe give a tinkers cuss about their customers and their so called customer care teams, particularly Amazon are worse than useless and will do virtually nothing for you unless you create hell on earth for them. I spent around ten hours on the phone before finally getting the problem solved. I also paid Amazon a visit at their offices in Slough, Buckinghamshire.In Amazon's case they don't pay their taxes and the GMB union is also having serious trouble contacting them in connection with the way they treat their staff. I know because I've spoken to them. On top of that I have spoken to Action Fraud (The Police Internet Investigation Department. They have had many complaints about Amazon.Forty years in business has taught me that the absolute top strategy in dealing with customers is to have no barriers and always talk. After attempting to use GIMP for a while I finally relented and purchased CS5 as I was finding the interface on GIMP difficult to use and and 'help' difficult to understand as it used technical language that assumed a knowledge I did not have. I have now been using CS5 for a few weeks and I am delighted. I have had previous versions of Photoshop and had also found the user interface and 'help' difficult at times. This has been much improved in CS5 and I am now using some of the more advanced features much more easily. It is still extremely expensive - but worth it for those who intend to spend significant time manipulating images either as a hobby or, indeed, professionally.

Excellent software package. Allows easy processing and artistic editing of digital photos. Enables photo creations such as albums, scrapbooks, calendars, greeting cards etc. Very useful for crafting, digital art projects, stationary, posters and many more carft and photography projects. Produces very professional photos with easy to follow user guide.

I have had this product for more than a year now, I am quite happy with it, costly but good.

What can I say...it's just the best product for editing still images and if you are an Encore DVD authoring software users...this is a MUST HAVE addition.
