My other one got worn out. These are brilliant makes mashing so easy & smooth. I think putting it in the dishwasher ruined my last one. I not do without one of these now.

I always thought that electric things such as cheese graters and potato mashers were the types of things owned by people who have either too much space in their kitchen or more money than sense. However after breaking 3 potato mashers in the space of a year and then ending up with a medical issue (not related to the masher incidents), I was struggling with simple things including mashing potatoes and kept having to rely on my partner to help me. Becoming frustrated, I was at my wits end and I was looking for something else on Amazon when this was listed in the other things people bought section on the listing. I read up on it, thought about it, changed my mind, tried to mash potatoes which ended up with me hurting myself and bought it out of sheer anger. I’m glad I did as this has now changed my life - I use it every time I need to make mash and it basically takes all the hard work out of it for me. I can use it to add cheese to the potatoes which it goes through like it’s butter. It’s so easy to use - the same as a hand whisk in theory. Slot the end onto the handle & click in your chosen blade & away you go. We now have lump free potatoes without me losing my mind - for anyone who struggles with things around the house this is one of those wonder products that you normally see on shopping TV, but it actually works. It’s fairly easy to clean - more so if you have a dish scrubbing brush to clean the holes. It comes apart and breaks down into 3 parts. It also comes with a second blade for aerating, such as batter mix, meringues, cream, even gravy etc. This is one of those products I bought on a whim but this time it’s actually paid off and is used constantly rather than sitting on a shelf never touched like bread makers and pressure cookers that people collect over the years. If you have any sort of problems such as arthritis, MS, broken hand or maybe just want one for the hell of it - this product is worth the purchase of you actually ever use a whisk or a masher. It’s light weight, easy to hold & the button is easy to press and hold. Don’t let the low wattage put you off - this is as powerful as any other blender or whisk you would buy for the kitchen. It’s got umph and does the job. UPDATE: Having now has chance to test the second blade, I am pleased to report this is great for making fluffy omelettes. You can’t just stick it in the bowl and get fluff however, I found it works better if you lift it in and out of the mix as this seems to drag more air in and give a better result. I have only used this for mashing potatoes as I’ve only had it a few days but this machine does the job perfectly in a matter of a few seconds, the potatoes are creamy and smooth without the addition of butter etc. I can thoroughly recommend this product.

Iv only used it to do mash potatoes but its amazing. Add an egg and whisk. No effort to get really smooth mash.

DO NOT BUY! Not compatible with Australian power point! Very expensive waste of money!!! Couldn't work out how to return it! I haven't made mashed potato until tonight only to find that its a foreign power plug. Very disappointed.

This small furtive kitchen tool is truly a miracle. Never before did I find making mashed potatoed so easy, simple and fast, and never before did we have pureed potatoes so smooth and tasty. It is a sturdy little machine, easy to use and clean. It also perfectly mashes e.g. vegetable in a non stick pan, avocado into a quacamole, or chickpeas into a hummus. Whatever I mashed maintained its taste and texture not having been mixed but only smoothed. Superb buy. I can only recommend it.

Ein guter Helfer im Haushalt, der sei Geld wert ist. Das Püree ist wie beschrieben hervorragend. Das Gerät lässt sich gut reinigen und wir sind sehr zufrieden.

My wife has arthritus in her hands and found this easy to use. Plus the mash was perfect. Well done Masha
