I'm an artist. As I sell a good bit of work these days, I might even be able to call myself a professional artist. (I'm still wrapping my head around that title.) In any case, the most common medium that I use is pen and ink. I've used "dip pens", "Micron pens", and even fountain pens. They all have their uses. Recently I met an artist who uses and swears by these. Hmm. I'm always up to try something new. I like them, I really do. They are super convenient. I can keep one in my pocket all of the time. They put down a strong, consistent line. With a light touch I can produce a very light and thin line, which can be useful. The ink dries fast and is waterproof once dry. This has become important as more and more I find myself adding watercolor later. I draw daily. I'll be ordering again soon.

These red rollerball pens are perfect for marking up documents, making revisions, reviewing class notes, and are good for making second and third passes over any type of writing. The red ink practically dries on contact with paper, the fine point does not "gum up," and the quality is constant and consistent.

These pens are my staple right now - they also write on card stock, which is very nice and not many pens can. I would say these are definitely worth the money and the point is great. They are nice to write with.

I love Uniball Deluxe pens. They usually write smoothly, and the ink does not run, even if the paper gets saturated with water. I prefer the "Fine Point" ones over these "Micro Point" pens because they flow a bit more smoothly and effortlessly. I usually buy the fine points by the case (of twelve) and these by the three pack in order to keep a few around for when I need to write something really small or detailed. I have noticed, and a few other reviewers have commented that quality control for these pens has gotten a little worse over the years. I think this has affected the micro points more because I used to prefer them over the fine points. It seems like they used to be able to write a very fine line just as smoothly as the larger tip pens wrote thick lines. But I have to admit that maybe over the last eighteen years my hand has gotten a little less steady and I don't quite see those small lines as well as I used to, so it is possible that the problem is more with me than the pen :(

Love the wavy pins work with arthritis in my hands. They’re very easy to use. I’m very fine lettering and it is now the only pair I can use. I will buy again for sure.

The greatest pen in the world!! Or one of them anyway. I was introduced to these pens 25 years ago at a job that required writing in a field notebook, and we were required to use water-fast/solvent-fast pens that do not absorb water or other solvents. So everyone at work used these. They write beautifully. I think they only have one tip size - but Uniball does make some other pens that aren't water-fast that have bigger tips (not as easy to write with those though.) Uniball has always been a very high quality producer of pens and I recommend them highly. You might have to figure out which one/ones suit you the best depending on what you're using them for and they are expensive usually so you have to try to get them on sale. But despite the cost, they're well worth it, especially if a workplace is paying for them!

My favourite pens! My friend brought some home from his office, and after trying them out, had to buy them for myself! Ink dries quickly and doesn't smudge. Have spilled liquid on this ink and it stayed put. Love the fine tip, an excellent size for any kind of writing. Ink comes out smoothly and clearly, never too much or too little. So easy to write with this. In my opinion, a must have for anyone and the best pens I've ever used! Love the Uni-ball line, and this is their best to me! Good price on Amazon too. I've tried a ton of different pens, different brands, some cheaper, some more expensive, and this is the one I miss when I don't have it! They last a good amount of time too, since the ink flow is regulated well. Definitely worth the price! Been using this model for years! Once you try it, you won't want to use any other pen!
