Arrow 9100 Electric Stapler
Bought this to recover dinette chairs. Half the time the staple loader came loose. It mis-shot about every 10 staples - had to clear it. And it doesn't seem to have that much power. Returned it and got the Stanley TRE550. TWICE the machine the 9100 is. Hasn't mis-shot a staple yet - stays together - has adjustable power setting - has a tip guard so you cant accidentally shoot a staple, and has a separate on/off switch. It seems more powerful and its not that much more money.

Great indoor alternative for heavy staples and brads. Be sure to order right brand and size staples and brads from Amazon too!
Works really nice! Good for homeowner / indoor / hobbyist use. Not a substitute for air shooter or for doing roofing (too light duty). Loading illustrations on box and instruction sheet are a little confusing so READ THE LOADING INSTRUCTIONS FIRST AND ABOVE ALL, KEEP TRIGGER IN LOCKED/OFF position AND UNPLUGGED (AS RECOMMENDED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS) WHEN RELOADING SO YOU DON'T ACCIDENTLY SHOOT YOURSELF IN THE HEAD with a brad or a heavy duty staple OK? Product is NOT idiot proof!

Okay device - but use with care.
This stapler is adequate for soft wood if it is held firmly against the material being stapled. I does not have a safety that prohibits accidental pulling the trigger. Leaving it plugged in while loading staples could result in a staple in the eye. I have replaced it with a brand that has a small tab in front of the staple discharge that prohibits stapling unless depressed against the material being stapled.

not worth it
I should have taken the advice of most of the reviews that I read and that was not to buy. It work for just a short time with both nails and staples and when I say short time I mean it only lasted no more than a dozen nails and less staples before it packed it in. It just would not fire. It was not jammed. The trigger did not operate and I could not use it anymore. i did not want to go to all the trouble and send it back to the USA so I just put it on the shelf never to be used again. So if you have taken the time to read this review, all I can say is don't whatever you do, do not buy this item.

useless for brads
This worked reasonably well with staples, but almost useless with brads. Fires one correctly, second on only part way through and then the gun jams. Extremely frustrating. I’d return it if I hadn’t bought it two years ago. This was the first time I tried brads.

Very Nice Stapler
Very well made. I really like the zero edge - you can get in very close stapling. Comfortable to use, and with a long enough cord that you don't need an extension cord all the time.

Does not work.
I have had this item for some time now and I've tried to staple numerous different materials with it. It has no power and is absolutely worthless as a stapler. Just say it's a PowerShot Pro is the biggest lie ever because it has nothing professional about it and absolutely no power. My stapler still looks brand new because I can't find anything to use it on that it has the power to staple. If you buy it you're foolish.

This is probably the best electric stapler on the market. This model was once branded as a Sears Craftsman model and it lasted 21 years for me and really took a beating. Just purchased this one and it works great. Excellent for screens, house wrap, and roofing tar paper. It holds a full row of T50 staples and it also drives in 18 gauge x 9/16 brads for small projects with small trim. Never jams. I highly recommend this stapler.

Works , but not on hardwoods. Will not fully penetrate oak, maple, birch. Spruce, pine and cedar are not an issue

I am a 55 year old woman who loves renovating. I have arthritis. Positive: It's light and the trigger works like magic: zap! The staples also go in to the wood flush. No muscle power needed. Negative: It can only hold about 20 staples or it jams and jams and jams so I was constantly stopping and reloading which created a bigger problem. The staple cartridge is too difficult to pull out of the machine, so much so that I had to hammer the designated slide buttons that only a muscle-man's hand can squeeze back. I cursed and cursed it too many times. Not worth it.
