Do not buy this junk!!! This is basically just an expensive handheld microphone, and its hardware and functionality rely ENTIRELY on your smartphone app and available internet connection at the moment you’re trying to use it! You MUST download an app for this to function, because it basically functions as a Bluetooth connected microphone and speaker- via your smartphone! There’s NO privacy here! All of the translation/ interpretation is going through the app and your phone’s data plan- via Bluetooth! If you don’t have a phone signal- it doesn’t work! It’s HIGHLY misleading the way it’s advertised! It offers ZERO functional advantage over any FREE smartphone translation app! The misleading advertising should be reported to BBB and the functionality of the device to FAA. It’s another Chinese gimmick with potential for installing spyware on your phone and having your phone usage and personal data accessed easily! Do not buy! I’m returning it.

Works well but hard to stay charged when not plugged in all the time

The ad says it will work offline but that is not true at all. This must be connected to your phone via Blue Tooth and if your phone does not have an internet connection the the translation does not work. Very disappointed as this is no better than Google Translate or Apple Instant Translate.

Easy to work with

This product malfunction many times. It would work sometimes, and other times no response. Many times great delays in its communication response. My phone app translator worked as good if not better, at no cost to me.

we have a helper that comes every two weeks that we are very close with. she speaks no english and we chat by typing in the phone. I purchased this through Enence for my wife many weeks before Christmas. I was perturbed because it was suppose to arrive in time as a present. I actually tried to cancel the order as it was so late. It finally arrived mid January. My wife loved it. Our friend was amazed and they chatted by voice !. I got on Amazon and purchased another. It was 1/3 the price ! and arrived the next day !!The same exact device ! and gave it to her and she was so excited she broke down in tears. She even texts us from home and it translates the texts! Very Nice to pair with an iPhone ..that i know!
