Niederegger Classic Marzipan Variations - 300 g/10.5 oz

I first tried these in Germany just to see what the hype was about and they completely won me over. So much so that once I got back to the US I ended up buying more from this same brand, and I'm happy to say they taste exactly the same, fresh, rich and just as delicious as the ones I had overseas. The variety in this box is great, pineapple, orange, classic, pistachio, milk chocolate and espresso, every single one is well made with smooth marzipan and a nice chocolate coating that isn't overly sweet. The texture is soft and melts in your mouth beautifully without ever feeling chalky or dry, and the quality is consistent throughout the whole box, no weak flavors in the mix. They are a bit pricier than other marzipan brands out there, but you're genuinely paying for better quality, better flavor and overall a more authentic experience. If you've never had real marzipan before this is a perfect introduction, and if you have, these hold up against the best. Highly recommend.

Bought these for a German friend, who is a shut in. He has a very sweet tooth, and longed for his favourite Xmas treat - marzipan. These mini marzipan cakes came directly from the town in Germany that makes the best product. My friend loved them for three reasons: they were a taste of home; they were exactly what he was craving; and they were sweet. Result: One very happy camper!!!

Great value for money, as the texture of the chocolate and marzipan is just so smooth and creamy. The dark chocolate is not bitter at all. The different colours and their flavours are so inviting, giving such variety as a present or to try new variants. Great quality gift for someone else (or yourself)!

I absolutely love these Niederegger chocolate marzipan mini loaves.
