Insight Guides South Korea: Travel Guide with eBook

The book lacks depth and doesn't help as a guidebook. I doubt much real research went behind the book. It is weak on even the most fundamental parts of a travel guidebook eg itinerary suggestions, food places to eat and accommodation. Poor poor poor.

It goes into detail with relevant cultural and historical information, explaining politics, religion, and basic Korean phrases that are necessary to learn.I’ve found it really helpful with info such as accessible travel, where to visit based on the location, even etiquette and health care. It covers the things you wouldn’t usually consider like public toilets and the internet, and I’m glad it has maps included.I do wish it would go into more detail with specific restaurants etc.
